Clone Trooper (Live Action) EVA Foam Armor Free Templates

Hey everyone! Once again I am uploading more costume templates for EVA foam armor builds. This time it's for the Live Action Style Clone Trooper as opposed to the Animated style suit that I made years ago. The templates were originally made by Sergio Solo on YouTube. I modified them with his permission to be more suitable for foam builds as his were meant for styrene plastic sheets. I used 6mm EVA foam for the majority of the build. The helmet in this picture was 3D printed and painted by me using a free file from Thingiverse: Clonetrooper helmet - Phase 2 (Star Wars) by Woyta94 The blaster file is here: DC-15 / DC-15A clonetrooper blaster rifle (Star Wars) by Woyta94

He said that all of the templates are based on Sergio Solo's armor templates. And he has the thigh armor (see
).

how much foam do you need? and how expensive would it be to buy? also what do you use to stick it together
Typically the amount of foam you need will vary depending on your size. I recommend buying a couple 72"-48" sheets of this Cross-Linked Polyethlene foam, that should be enough for a full set plus a little extra in the case of mistakes or damaged pieces. Its a little weaker than EVA but its much cheaper and should work just fine for foam cosplays. For connecting pieces, you'll want to use contact cement. Barge Contact cement works best because of its fast drying, but any contact cement should work just fine. Just make sure you intend to use a good portion of it quickly after opening the can because it will often start to dry out slowly after its opened. I recommend starting with the simpler pieces (like the arms) on here so you can get the hang of cutting smoothly and gluing the pieces together before doing more complicated portions like the chestplate.

also how much would it cost to have someone make it for me
Just gonna reply to all 3 questions here for you.
1) These files don't specify but it does show how the files assemble together on the first page. You can also make a small mock up out of paper to get a better feel of where pieces will connect and then mark which direction the cuts should bevel yourself.
2) Contact cement works best, I personally recommend Barge contact cement if it is available on your area. You can use hot glue if you don't have a space well ventilated enough for contact cement. If you use hot glue, make sure you connect the parts at an angle so that the excess glue is pushed to the interior of the armor instead of the exterior
3) It depends, but likely above $1,000, especially if you want it fully painted, rigged, etc.
