RoboCop 3 is inexcusably bad. I am confident that the remake won't be as bad as that was
Why? Why would you people subject yourself to the horrors of R3?
Definitely toyed with the idea of buying the trilogy on Blu-ray...:confused
Wasn't Robocop 3 just the tv show pilot?

Ah, the good ol' days.. when R-rated movies were rated R for a reason. The 80s were the glory days for the R rating.. lol.I was 8 yrs old when Robocop hit theaters and had to beg an uncle to take me....fond memories and years of nightmares from the acid bath scene. "Help me..."
That was also my first exposure to excessive foul language as well, which got me in a boat-load of trouble when I went home and asked my parents the definition of certain words. My uncle had lots of explaining to do. Fond memories...
Sweet the whole thing is on Youtube! I'm like 10 minutes in-- it's pretty damn horrible, lol. RoboCop won't even shoot anyone!! He just keeps shooting 'things' so that they fall on the bad guys. Why even bother doing the damn show if you're going to dumb it down that much! No, the 2 hour pilot for the tv show was called The Future of Law Enforcement and was adapted from a discarded RoboCop 2 script called Corporate Wars by the writers of the original RoboCop.
Oh man-- the first time I saw the first movie, it was when I was around 6 and it was on TV (edited). While they showed the part where Emil gets melted in the truck- and then the 'help me....' scene - they cut the part where Clarence hit him with the car. So for years I thought Emil just wandered the steel mill forever! The thought of that gave me nightmares for years! 'The Haunted Steelmill'- legend says a zombie walks the premises...! :lolfond memories and years of nightmares from the acid bath scene. "Help me..."
Yep! Acid bath = Nightmares. :lol
Although the worst for me was the innocent guy that Ed 209 takes out in the board room. He didn't do anything to deserve that!
He worked for OCP! Good enough for me! :lol
