Hey, folks. Quick question:
How would you mods feel about me posting something in OT offering my services to the board at large? Here's the background:
As some of you know, I'm an attorney, having done both intellectual property law and securities work in the past. Last year, I was recruited by Smith Barney/Citibank to serve as an attorney financial advisor (basically, serving as a financial advisor to attorneys in the greater New Orleans area). Better money than my previous job, with no travel required and an office 10 minutes from my new house, so it was a no-brainer.
Anyhoo, attorneys are an ornery cantankerous bunch and after dealing with them for a year, I'm ready to do business with people I like and who share my interests (i.e., folks on the RPF). Given that Katrina has emptied out New Orleans, it's kinda slow around here, so it makes my decision that much easier.
So I was hoping to float a post in OT pretty much offering my services to folks on the board. Would you guys be OK with this? And, if so, could we make it sticky for a while?
