well i did the mod with the sole dye, its absolutly amazing..... cant wait to show it off it worked perfectly like i hoped true the process i thoug i kinda ruined my v3's but i didnt. i turned out better then i thought.

here is a before and after and i have a album with my proces here !

the photo below is super light because of the sun but the color is spot on

Could you post us the products you used, did you directly apply the dye on the sole or you mixed it with something ? Wich tutorial did you use ? Thanks.

I will do this and rework the led Bubble see they look as close as possible to RDs.

I just used the materials on the first picture in my imgur album i posted and some tape and house hold foil and a exacto.
First i taped off the whole shoe and packed it with house hold foil. Put it in the sunlight for 20min
meanwile i took a 8 once bottle and put 2 of light blue leater dye and mix with solebright all to the top of the bottle. Shaked for a minute to make it a smooth color with no swirls
after 20 min i took the shoes inside and took of the solebright, it was a bit more clear now so the blue wont look yellow when applyed.

Applyed the mixture uf blue and solebright, and after 20 min cleaned them and this was the effect.

No just display piece, the dye is sucked into the sole so it will hold up i think!

I did the same thing to my Hc's to hide the yellow. But as the soles yellow they will start to go green. Idk how long it will take on these v3s but it will turn.

My display pair is moast of the time in air thight 3m bags for perfect condition to keep them in good condition, so i dont think mine wil go green very quick. Usaly oxidation goes hand in hand with using them. I had the luck my v3 did not have much yellowing, but the solebright took it back to super clear so hopefully they will be like this for years and years to come.

Perfect execution! now no one can say solebright (or alternatives) + blue dye doesn't work . Give us an update on how the color holds up in the future

These dont took that long i taped up the wole solanand bottom and used my nail to get the tape between the sole and the clear part. Then use my exacto to cut into the groove along the clear part, did that like 3 times so i would say i did like 1 hour for both i think it took me around 2,5 hours in total to dye the soles

I had to do the whole upper, so that took extra time.

Got my replacements. They look pretty much like the qc pics. The box I paid extra for however was ripped all to HFIL.
