Hi, I don't know for the soles, but if you make your mags, please document your work in a thread you'll sure find people here to help ;)

Not bad. If I hadn't just ordered my second pair of V3's, I'd be interested. They should have released this instead of the Sport versions. :D
Then again, everything looks ordinary next to the V3's now.

The V2 should have been released that way from day 1.

^^ Looks like @Jedifyfe 's first modded pair of V2s.

I used the same rubber (but with tints added) that I make my clears from. The rubber I use has a 15min potlife, after which it turns to a gel and then becomes really, really sticky. using a stick, I can apply it to the midsole and shape it. It still takes 6+ hours to cure and sometimes I have had drips but they are easily ground off using a rotary tool.

I also did my spatters the same way.

It's like they needed to study the RD to figure out the toe box.

I'd buy them for $200 USD or less.

Or just copied what Jedifyfe, airair and other members here did.

All they needed to do, and it looks like they have, is use a slimmer last and not the "boot" last they had been using. We have been asking them to do this for 3 years.

@airair wow, that is a great difference ! But as cavx said it is too expensive for a V2 that would need some modifications (I would modify the whole collar and the tongue then the straps)
But that is way better for not having to get on the toebox modification as it is the most dangerous one !
@Davidjones when will you sell some non electronics versions ? These won't break and you won't have to deal with customs fee and returned shoes etc...

we will think of about it . thx for your advice

@davidjones888 you should post photos to show the fix.

pls check the pics IMG_8141.JPGIMG_8142.JPG

Maybe they are using the same lasts as the V3 now.

Maybe. I am agreeing with RVLF. Give us an un-powered version of the V3 for $300.

Can anyone tell if this is a better setup for the EL?

I'm still in doubt about that small bridge in the centre. The human foot just moves in too many ways when we walk, run etc. There is just not enough material there to ensure no breaks when subjected to the forces of just walking.

Have no clue what the "patches" on the back are made of, but judging by the looks of it yea...doesn't look too promising to me either. Also, what is that patch for on the smaller dome? There isn't even a connector there? I am pretty sure the failure is along the bottom or in the center, most likely in the center. Especially how most people only have the front dome go out. Need jedifyfe to chime in
