If you buy a quantity of one on the site will you get one panel or 1 pair?
I think he is going by European sizes. Doesn't look like he included all of them.

Please sell us the MAG without the electronics, we will buy them. Then, we can wear them everywhere without worrying about breaking the electronics. And it will be easier for you to make them as well.

I personally would not bother with the this new V2,R1 (Version 2, Revision 1) if we can get V3s cheaper.

I'd say a pair. Some times pairs of shoes are listed as 1 unit.

One of the only ways to make these stronger is to run them through a lamination machine to add a protective layer of plastic over the top. Not sure how that would go with the plug though.

It could be that they are shorting due to the wiretape coming off.
The actual lanes on the back of the panel should not be shorting out with the way its been made.
The panel could be just very weak hence any slight bend is causing shorting out.

Still doesn't hurt to look into it. Especially since my convention shoes are finally on their last legs.
If they could be gotten for under $200, that would be well worth it for me.

These are awesome!! Thank you for making these available! With being able to buy these separately, I now have very little concern wearing them.
I am eager to see how the community improves the connections/support to resolve the parts breaking. Thank you, davidjones888 for hearing what will help us and then bringing that to the market!
On that same note, you might work with cavx to adopt the clear soles that are UV stable. If his soles stayed clear after several months sitting in the sun, then that upgrade will make members here happy, AND will make all of the sneakerheads happy with their "Icy" soles!! If you sold the replacement UV soles separately, like you are doing with the EL panels, the UV soles would be another add-on sale. That will make you more money. Just like my message to you to add the EL panels to my order, people WOULD buy extra UV soles. If you explain, people will understand that the factory produced larges quantities of the other materials, and for that reason you must sell them as an add-on feature. I would buy 2 complete sets of UV soles.
If you do get together with cavx on the UV stable recipe, consider comping him a pair of Mags.

+1 I asked the same question. I proposed using "friends and family" gift option. That should not have any fees for him. If my memory is correct there was some discussion on Reddit of being able to use paypal when buying from David.

I have always wanted a pair of the RD. Now this V3 pair...with a few mods these have completely extinguished that urge! Here are a few comparison photos. I'll get more soon. Is anyone still interested In more of the "how to" style photos?
