Hey all - First let me say, what a great site and community. I have already learned lots!
What is the consensus on the sizing of the V3? I understand they run big, but has anyone measured them vs. actual foot size? My actual feet measure 11 5/8". Depending on the brand, and even the brand's models, this can mean I wear 13's or 14's. What I am understanding from the posts it might mean I wear a 12 in these, and that is very surprising to me. Any understanding is greatly appreciated.

Welcome. For me, the size fits true to NIKE. I wear a size 10.5-11 in Nike and the 10.5's fit perfect. I have heard similar to other people.
Thank you for the greeting, and for the reply. That is the thing for me, even within Nike's the fit can vary among their models. Have you ever measured your foot for an exact length? I suppose that even from your post it could be the V3's run a half-size big. I believe I read a post that suggested these might share components across multiple sizes. Meaning, the 9-11, could use the same soles, and the 12-13 use the same sole, or similar (these are just random numbers to express the point). That might throw sizing for a loop.
@davidjones888 will you please provide a sizing chart that is based on actual interior measurements? It would reassure people like me who do not like the idea of sending Western Union and having the product return options include mailing back to China or pay more for a suitable replacement.

Will see what I can do, but from several people now, they are saying that the panels on the v3 seem to be turning blueish when a more powerful inverter is being used.
Normally, you can get el panels in Blue aqua (which is mostly blue and doesn't really have green). And then you have Blue Green which is what it seems is the desired colour.
I'll try and compare the different colours.

I've never had any trouble with my GITD V2's, though I didn't internally light them, just carried an LED torch to charge them up from time to time as they glow for a while.
I can confirm that, I've got a collection of Nikes (and others), I'm usually a size 9.5/10 and the V3s seem just right as 10s. Trying to decide if my second pair will be 10 as well or try 9.5's. The V2's were the ones that seemed to run a bit big.

Cyan is R 0 (0%), G 255(100%), B 255 (100%).
When I measured the panels (the original A6 uncut) I bought from you a while back, Red was really low (not 0), Green was only about 60% with blue at 100%. This is why they appeared more more blue that cyan. I have a colorimeter to measure this. It does appear that running a higher spec inverter also ups the frequency because even the white EL I have here runs blue by almost 30% using the same inverters. White should be R 255(100%) G 255(100%) B 255(100%) yet I seem to get R and G near 70% Vs B at 100%.
GITD was never an option in these shoes. It was something I sourced and tested and it seemed to work out but does not glow brightly for long. It is a nice colour very close to true cyan (which is what we want) when fully charged. It dims within minutes and once it reaches a low glow, it will stay that way for hours. But the colour now looks more green. I did want to experiment with adding blue GITD powder, but I have to buy 1KG just to run a test, so never bothered as it costs close to $140/KG.
for starters the el is WAY too fragile David, EVERYONE's pairs that are being worn it breaking either one half goes out or they all go out!!!!
David as a salesman of this shoe please fix this problem so your mag will be wearable!!!

So what i'm hearing is I won't have a pair of V3's that have no issues by Halloween time. I already sold my HC Mags....I guess my pair of bruins will have to do :unsure
Please just sell extra EL panels for the soles. That way we can make the repairs.
If he sold the ones he currently has, wouldn't they break just like the rest?

Yes, please sell us the EL panels. I would gladly pay you for the panels, and fix the shoe myself. It will save you a lot of aftersale issues too.

all I can tell you is the ones I got are exactly the same ones as in the QC pics they sent me - matched up about 10 splatter points when I read about this happening earlier in the thread.
Hope you get the ones you approved too!
