Nike MAG replicas (V2 and V3 only)

I received a set of @airair EL sole panels and with a little tweaking on the size, shape and color these would be a good replacement for the V3's broken panels. I think the color may change if the pods were the correct shape and size. Maybe @WizardBTTF has some input. The color looks the same in the photos but airair's is slightly more green.

My only concern is the shape, if I were to replace mine I would like them to fit in the original recessed area on the sole. The connection looks really solid on that new panel though, although I do have some concerns about it sticking out the back...does it fold flat against the back of the panel? And use the same cut out slot to feed the wire through?

the placement of the connection would have to change on the replacement panels to match the original panels....or at least be close.

On the panels i have (which are designed for any V2) , you normally have to fold them back where the connector is.
I think there is a way to have the connector running straight from the back so then won't have to fold around. I will check.

I mean no offense but what's the diffrence between doing that & buying it myself from Sneakerhead myself. Once again I mean no offense.

i think the difference is that you are covered with Paypal if anything goes wrong, and you don't have to worry about using western union or credit card in the sneakerhead site.
Might cost you a few dollars more, but it will probably suit those that want a bit more security if intending to buy from china.

Hi
i was wondering if you took a picture of the el panel turned on without the clear soles over them?
if you do, can you post it up? I would like to see what the panel is looking like when its turned on without the clear soles.

Update on my mags, wore them for the first time today and in 5 minutes my lights have failed which is a shame but on the bright side they still look awesome

Wow that's a shame man. I'm beginning to doubt if these MAGs are even wearable - with the exception of the lucky few who got good pairs. davidjones888 are you guys doing anything to fix this ongoing problem?

Can anyone let me know how I can measure the frequency of the EL panel? If davidjones888 could sell the panels then it would be awesome. I'm sure people would pay $25-$30 just for the EL.

Some multimeters have a "hz" function. This is the only way I know to accurately measure frequency. Should be as simple as disconnecting the EL and taking a reading from the connector. I couldn't find any multimeters with this function local, I'd have to order one online. The comparison photo I posted of the Nike strap, that inverter I used runs at 2000hz and completely turned the EL panel blue.
