Nike MAG replicas (V2 and V3 only)

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/AIR-...71_72_73_74_75,searchweb0_0,searchweb201560_9

are these the actual "V3"s? I can't tell if they're the reps or pics of the RD Mags. Any insight would be great. Also, has anybody ever ordered from them? Pros/Cons? anything would be appreciated. Thanks.

Almost all pics are RDs, except the 2nd one wich is V2s (probably).
You're gonna get V2s in best case.
I personnaly avoid sellers who make confusion posting a mix of different mags... And you can find cheaper V2s

Yeah i thought they were the RD. I aim to avoid anything that has multiple different pics of the "Same" product. if you know of another site please share. I'm looking for a better pair then the HC ones I bought last year.

There was plenty of links posted few days ago, please check them out, Karin Chen was a trusted seller.
I would choose her if I had to order V2s again.

i was looking but i didn't see anything. Thanks I'll definitely check again.

Has anyone used a light blueish color of Fbcc sole dye on their bottom soles? Seems like a good product that might work. I don't know if anyone has tried it yet.

Edit: ending up biting the bullet as it was pretty cheap and I saw a picture of the arctic ice blue on instagram and it looks like just the color I want. Hopefully it will look good on my yellowish soles since they aren't fully clear. Will post my results.

Hey there everyone!

I was wondering if anyone had a link to a video or message in this thread of someone making the ankle bubble more authentic on the V2's to the one seen in the RD version of the Mags? If not, would anyone be able to explain to me how it's done? Just to be clear, I'm not talking about the LED's as I have a clear idea on how to make them. I'm talking about the actual plastic that houses them. I have left images below to make my question more understandable.

Thanks guys,
- Will.

The V2s look way better on people in pics so I'm hoping they're better than these HCs in person.

Here's a pic from the AMC convention here in Melbourne of me with the V2s and someone else with HC's. Keep in mind that I've repainted my midsoles and replaced the outsole with Cavx's first clear versions, the toes are steamed and the strap logo replaced with a GITD segment.....

DragonGalvy, Your shoes look great. They always look so clean without the splatters. I am a bit torn between keeping the splatter and going back to the clean look again. I'll probably keep the splatter just because it was cool that two sales people in two different shops recognized them for what they are - MAGs :)

It is still a work in progress but I am in the process of making new more accurate bubbles. The molds I have made so far allow for a part that protrudes almost twice that of the standard flat bubble, but the parts are flat on the surface and I want to make new parts that are more rounded. These parts are also too short. They were designed to fit the V2 heel cup without the need to modify the cup.

Right now I am also in the process of making a pair new master heel cup parts that are more rounded (fat ass look of the RD) and have the 25mm (1") tall MAG molded directly onto them. I also want to the make a slightly larger bubble for these as well.

Here is a look at the modded parts when I revisited the idea of making larger bubbles.

From here, I also decided that wanted larger letters. I had the letters machines and it is a PITA making letters for my pairs, but I have a few sets done now.

About a year ago, I did make a pair of GITD large bubbles and only fitted them to my own shoes about 6 months ago because I did not have anything glowing on the heel cup of my GITD wear pair. These are the only pair in existence, but are made from GITD at just 5%, not clear why they are not glowing very bright compared to the soles and strap at 15%. In the photo below, these are more "square" and I have since "rounded" them from how they came out of the mold. So I will have to make more parts, re-shape them, pour a new mold and then cast sets.

All this takes time and $$$ and why it is not done yet.

2 things I wanted to preserve is the 3 slots where the LEDs go in and the lip that prevents the part falling out. My pair has both of these things.

if I had bought them today, probably would have paid $135. I will keep an eye on these as they are at a factory outlet store now, so in a few weeks, should be able to snag a pair (or 2) for about $100/pair.

Yes the 2015 HyperDunk is FUGLY. I was hoping they might have the white and grey colour way, but nope, just these. Who seriously wears red shoes?

Haha funnily enough, me. :D
This model is "Roshe" and have the sock toe like the screen MAGs. Very comfy, but with no rubber outsole, I'm expecting them to wear away very quickly. Only used them three times so far.

Adidas also seem to offer a sock toe, as well as several unknown brands including those from K-Mart, Big-W and Target.

If I buy Karin Chen's Nike Mags, would I have to do any additional customization? So far, those seem to be the best thing here from what I've read on the last few pages.

Are these V2 shoes superior to the HC version with the upgradeable kits?

V2s are the best replicas you can get, also they are more expensive compare to HCs and Sports version.
Thanks to this thread you can mod your mags to get them more accurate and can find some upgrage kits available in the junkyard or the Project Run section.

Speaking with someone who claims to have ordered the $700 pair. Says he will get them in 1-2 weeks and will send me info and pics. Will update if he's being legit.

Almost prepared to bet he doesn't get anything in the next 2 weeks.

Assuming the factories have already scanned and processed the parts to make these, they still will have bugs in the system to work out before they can go into production.

In 2012, we watched the launch of the V2s over several weeks before a "pre-order" came about and then we all got jibbed with the "you send more money" crap. So what was originally listed at $109USD soon became $250USD. So I think the said $700 deal is also going to repeat here and will probably be around $1500, if they actually do it.

Augh! If he didn't want them, give them to me! (as everyone on here would probably say)
Lets completely dip the person who did that in paint. For like..... ten minutes;)
