Nike MAG replicas (V2 and V3 only)

Hi there everyone. I've read a lot of this thread to be as informed as possible before asking some of the common questions. I recently had a problem with my order of the halloween costumes MAGS and decided I would just go for it and buy from aliexpress.

My questions are related to talking with the seller. What should I be asking of them exactly? Should I ask for pictures? Shipping info? What are the types of things you guys ask them before making an order?

Lots of good feedback and pictures from other people. Im just asking you guys first so I dont do the straight add to cart and buy them.

It is up to you. I have bought a few pairs and in every time, I made contact with the seller. And I even asked for good shoes which I got.

What did you tell them or ask them when you contact them? Thats mostly what Im trying to figure out. All help is appreciated. :)

Thanks! I remember reading somebody stating that the shoes run a size to a size and a half big. I'm still a little paranoid as to what size V2 to get. I'm thinking possibly a size 9.5 V2 might fit me.

Anybody that owns a size 9.5 or size 10 V2: What size shoe do you wear besides the V2? Does the size 9.5 or 10 V2 fit nicely?

Side note: What is the "Sport" version I've been reading about? What's the difference between the sport shoe and a normal V2?

Ask the seller very kindly, if they don't mind, if they can send you a photograph of the actual shoes. If they comply and send you a picture, make sure it's not a reused stock photo they put up on the selling page. Take a look at the shoes, and if they look like how you want them, then go for it. Ask them if they still have some in stock, also. That should be the first thing you ask.

When in doubt, find another route.

I think these are the Sport versions people are talking about. If you look at the second pic they say SPORT where the Nike should be.

The first image almost makes these look sexy. Too bad the 2nd image tells the truth. Then check out the 3rd image and tell me that person is not wearing the shoes on the wrong feet.

If Gogoyeezy produce anything as good as they've advertised I'll be getting a few cans to put on them.

Didn't you say your wear pair were pretty tired and about to break? Might be better off doing those mods to a brand new pair now you've got all this experience?

They are tired indeed. I ended running a strip of that mesh up the inside seam and glued it in place. Seems to have worked to help hold everything together and not cause a cosmetic change to the exterior of the shoe.

I am not sure I want to buy new V2s or just tackle a scratch build now I have the sewing machine issues sorted.

So, I'm about ready to pull the trigger in placing an order for some V2s.

I'm still a little finicky about the sizing issue. I'm not exactly sure what size of the shoe to get.

Also, I've read in a few threads that the buyers asked the sellers (on Aliexpress) for a "good pair" of shoes. What exactly does that mean? I know a good pair obviously, but wouldn't the seller still send you whatever they want regardless? Just curious!

Sellers like Karin became the "go to" because she looked after us and in return we gave her repeat business. If you ask for a nice set, she often goes and hand picks them. Problem is, most people don't ask. Be polite and she will come through.

When I bought mine, I got the US 9.5 size V2's. They are equivalent to a US 10 which I usually wear, so that worked out well. They are the same length (tip to heel) as a Reebok Pump Bringback size 10. I put the photo up on one of these threads ages ago. Pop some high-quality insoles in them and V2's are super comfy. (the midsole is not made for comfort like genuine sneakers, plus of course the battery hole)

Innersoles are needed in these. I did have EVA foam in my battery box, but it compressed, so I cut up some of the old molds I had made from Pinkysil (shore A25 Silicone) and now I have good comfort, support and I don't think silicone compresses over time.
