Btw do v2's run true to size? I've heard they are tight?

No the opposite, they run a bit big. by a 1/2 size to a full size bigger.

Hey everyone!
Due to the recent BTTF hype, I finally broke down, and decided to buy a pair of Nike Air Mags. However, I really would like to make them look extremely nice/clean. I have done some searching on Aliexpress.com, and I have found 3 pairs. Now, these pairs have the Nike swoosh on it already from the factory (or so the picture depicts). This is the main selling point for me. So, with that being said, I have a few questions I hope y'all wouldn't mind asking:
1. Which of these pairs of shoes would be best to purchase? Link1 Link2 Link3
2. I will figure out the LEDs in the left and right shoe using my voltmeter to see what they draw, etc. However, is it difficult to get to the battery in these things?
3. I also would really like to put in an EL sheet in the sole, and also have a "back-lit" Nike strap on the front. Where can I buy the strap kit/EL strip and Nike logo? Also the EL sheet for the soles?
4. How hard would it be to reposition the on/off button to a more discrete spot? Similar to the way Nike did in the originals.
Any response/feedback is greatly appreciated!

I'm not sure if it's an indicator of a new shoe coming out, but there are several sellers on taobao who have recently dropped there prices by a fair amount. Its not unusual to have a seller or two with a really low price that turn out to be time wasters, but this looks different. It looks like some are trying to clear there stock by cutting the price by 15-20 percent.
Might be worth holding out a few weeks to see what happens for those who haven't pulled the trigger yet.

FYI, there is three types out there and you links show the V2 which is the shoes you want. Because that is in Euros, I'd run with link three after contacting the seller first to make sure they actually ave them. These shoes should be listed about $250USD.
The factory leds are 3V and all 12 are wired in parallel. This is why if one drops out, the others stay on. They will burn out if you use them with a 9V battery and don't have resisters in series with them.
The battery for the shoe is in the sole. You will have some work ahead getting to it.
RPF member airair is doing EL kits.
A few have moved the button to the top of the cuff like the 2011 (and now 2015) MAGs. The button that comes with the shoes is a momentary switch, not and on off switch so if using it as an on/off switch, it needs to have pressure applied. .
This is how I was able to make this work

Most likely RDs. There seems to be one pair that every seller gets to use for photos and then they sell you v2s.

Although based on the price jump from $250 to $699, they very well could be onto a V3. Who knows. My guess, based on that listing, is that they're trying to say that they're selling a "authentic" version by comparing it to the replica (v2).

I don't think anyone has to risk $700. Right now we know there have been no new shoes produced, which is why they're using the RD pics. If they actually make a V3, they will start using pics of it when it's ready. There will be plenty of chance to check it out before placing an order.
