I have to remove my old yellowing soles and save my el panel... I'm a bit nervous about that but really excited to receive your finest clear soles! Thanks.
So hopefully I can get these in the post tomorrow.
And just for interest, I thought I might document how I think the best way to attach these might be.
This pair is US9, but the same technique would apply to all sizes.
This sole has been laminated with a light grey rubber. The owner of the shoes is undecided if they want to change the colour of the mid-soles, so I have applied a light grey (the colour that the mid-sole should be) to the base so that if he decides to go light grey, the under the side of the soles will be light grey.
So I am going to suggest that you need to start with the pyramid tread base parts first. Again I am using Tarzan Grip, but you can use Shoe Goo or similar. Shoe Goo is way over priced in Australia and why I stopped using it. TG works well and is affordable.
So what I have done here is pour the TG onto the clear parts and I actually pressed the two clears to gether to make sure I have uniform coverage. I then separated them and paced them on their respective shoes. They slide whilst the glue is fresh but also coat the recess in the mid-sole. I have then peeled them off and let them sit on the work mat until the glue "tacks" (feels sort of dry). I then placed the clears back on the mid-soles and then pressed hard and stood the shoes upright. I will leave these set up over night as I am now out of glue
I will repeat the above steps for the inner wing and front oval part. I will not attach the outer wing until the EL is fitted.
Stay tuned tomorrow for the next part of the tutorial.
