Nike MAG replicas (V2 and V3 only)

Ocourse I did. Just as I did the last time. I wouldn't blindly order but just because they say it's the v2's doesn't mean it is as my previous experience proves.

People have in the past, so just making sure. With all the pairs I have ordered from Karin, I always asked if she had stock on hand first before I made payment. I also learned that is OK to ask for clean shoes. All my pairs were pretty good and turned up.

Hey guys,

So, I may wait a week or two before I order this pair. Like I said, I really want them to have the Nike swoosh on the side from the factory. I'll definitely post when and if I order a pair!

Also, I wear a 9 in high-top Converse, but in normal Nike running shoes, I wear a size 11. What size V2 should I order?

I've also been giving the mods for the shoes some thought, and may try a few new techniques that I haven't seen anyone try yet. (As far as I know).

Please let me know about the shoe size. I may order a pair in the link listed above pretty soon.

Thanks!:)

Hi there!

I'm kinda new to the RPF, although I have been reading threads on replica Nike Mags for a while now, and I have decided to finally to try my hand at modding a pair of Nike Mag replicas. I have watched tutorials on how to flatten the toe box and how to change the lights to EL sheets etc. However I still need some guidance on the electronic parts mainly. I really wanted to watch jedifye's tutorials as he is the best from what I have heard. However he has since deleted many of his videos to my disappointment. So I was wondering if you could perhaps give some instruction on how to do install the EL Sheets, install a new set of heel lights and how to make the Nike Strap light up? It would mean the world to me! I have emailed a few people off YouTube and this forum such as Cavx and they have been a massive help to me! Below I will link the shoes I was thinking of getting plus an image of the shoes the seller has provided. Thank you all for reading!

I have also found a pair by Karin Cheng, who has been talked about by a lot of people on this forum. Would someone mind checking them out and giving me their opinion on them? Thanks.

I usually wear a US 11, 11.5 and 12 in Jordans and my HC Mags are an 11 and fit sweet, however if I was to slim toe they would be too tight so I'm getting US12 V2 Mags so all mods can be done comfortably! Hope it helps

So what Karin does is to photoshop the images to remove branding. All she has really taken off in the first image is the SWOOSH. The NIKE on the strap is still visible as is the NIKE on the heel cup along with a small portion of the MAG. So these are V2.

It really depends on what toe slim method you want to do.

I still have the orignal steam slim on my wear pair and yes, they went tight when i first did it. That does loosen up after a bit of wearing. Soon I have to tear my shoes down again to add EL to the soles and will perform a "sock toe" mod on them. The sock toes removes the toe box, so very comfortable as there is nothing but the fabric for your toes to touch.

Yeh sock toe would be the go I reckon! I'll leave that up to you! Also has anyone here used 'Crep protect' or anything similar on their Mags?! I've seen some vids and if it's legit it seems to work pretty good! You could certainly wear them to parties and not worry about spills!!

Mine actually had some form of protection on them when they were new because I spilt a bit of an Indian curry on a shoe one night and it wiped right off and left no mark what so ever. Also the rain would bead on these when they were new. Not now though. They are a like a sponge.

Hey everyone, just an FYI about my tutorials. Seems that YouTube feels that my tutorials are a trademark or copyright infringement and have pulled a few of my videos. I'm not sure how I infringed on the trademark but it might be because of the replica nature. Not sure though.

Anyway, I may do other tutorials that won't show the NIKE logo's....but it may be a while, so please don't email me asking when. Thanks!

That is weird. Normally they only pull them if they contain copyright material like a song. The whole point of these videos is showing "how to" and given YouTube has a "how to" section means that should be right there so long as the video is not offensive.
