Apparently a good portion of people here on this specific prop don't care about screen accuracy.

And they will justify it any way they can - namely that these shoes were copied from a 2011 pair.

The fact that these shoes have a more puffy cuff, longer tongue, visible strap wiring, clear (well yellow in some cases) all scream screen accurate to me. They would be almost perfect if they had a sock toe, but a sock toe won't sit nice when on display.

I believe someone on the team in China to finally produce such accurate shoes was a Back to the Future fan that wanted them to look more like the movie. Because otherwise they would have copied the shoes they got almost perfectly and gave them blue soles. You can't misconstrue a detail such as that if you have a real pair at your disposal and think that the 2011 shoes have normal clear soles.

I did and these look just as bad. I don't understand why every one else has nice soles and I keep getting pics of yellow soles. I just want some clearer ones. I will wait how ever long it takes.

I won't take them if I were you. If they don't understand the problem, then cancel your order.
They just have to stock them in a dark room before shipping and here it is... but no.

I'm not going to. I sent her a screen cap of David's post and asked for another and I pmd David. There is no reason to keep showing me yellow soles when everyone has posted pics of theirs with good ones. Unless they've turned on every pair in the factory... :/

It sort of looks to me like the LEDs casing is progressively "yellow" too. That has me wondering if it isn't something to do with the lighting? You have to know they understand the attributes of the product, so they may be reporting, accurately, the soles are just as the others. Either way it is a risk, I suppose. They will get you squared away.

Based on the discussions of the BTTF 2 jacket color, I am pretty sure whatever color processing was performed on the film caused some shifts in the accurate color portrayals on screen. I would guess they were Levi jeans, but that is just a guess.

Me neither I ordered EL panels the day they were available...paid over $30 for shipping on them too. Not sure why it takes so long to ship the parts...kinda defeats the purpose of fast DHL Express shipping if you then have to wait weeks for them to even ship lol. If I have to wait 3 weeks for them to ship...I could of waited another week for EMS or a cheaper option.
