*waves* Hi.

Sentri is the name. I'm a DJ, gamer, martial artist, and cosplayer (just to name a few things of what I do. the list goes on). I've been cosplaying for about 9 to 10 years now, and have a wide variety of costumes. While I am actually female, being as androgynous as I am, I am capable of cosplaying either gender character (albeit female characters are a lot more difficult for me.)

Living in Michigan, I can be seen around many of the cons there including Youmacon, Midwest Media Expo, Shutocon, and Meggaxp.

....uh, not really sure what else to say...I'm terrible with intros.

Hey all-

I was a member of this forum a LONG time ago, but seem to have lost my login credentials after years of inactivity. I'm from back in the days when "white sunblock" was a common phrase (not sure if it still is). Picked up some prop replicas from a few makers (Star Wars mostly) and want to pick up updated versions that are more accurate. It seems folks have learned so much more since when I frequented the boards.

I'm director of software engineering for a large international company. Currently reside in Chicago.

Hi there, beginner to Sfx makeup! Been enjoying making myself look as gory and horrible as possible:') Looking to upload photos (once i figure how to!) Would greatly appreciate honest feedback and any advice on products that come recommended when starting an Sfx kit as only have the basics! Also looking for a good product that will seal liquid latex in place.
Thankyou :)

Hey, this is Jennifer from Canada (Ontario, Canada)! I heard about the RPF through tested.com but found it while searching for a Death Eater wand holster. I have always been a builder and creator, but never really knew there was a community out there until a few years ago. I am constantly creating patterns, building pieces from a large variety of fandoms, and just having a fun time doing it. I can't wait to share my creations on the RPF and discover all the awesome people and things on here!

Hi guys I'm James I'm from Belfast Ireland found ur site through a friend who does cosplay. I'm new to cosplay as in getting my own outfit and am looking a bit of advice as I'm looking the shredder armour and bits & pieces & not sure where I could get it hopefully you guys can help as what I've seen on the fb page is amazing.

RPF has saved my arse numerous times now so I figured it was about time to register.

I'm an amateur cosplay/prop/patisserie dork from Texas/Australia. I really appreciate the community here and hope to contribute something somewhat helpful in the future.

Cheers

Hi,
My name's Andrew. I'm somewhat new to the whole costuming, cosplay, props; game. I have made two full costumes so far and a couple helmets in the works. I have used this forum quite extensively to assist in my builds and learning new techniques. I just completed a full Eva foam clone trooper build and have received quite a bit of praise for it so I figured I would give back by writing up a summary of my build process. As that will take some time I will quickly drop a line here and some images if I can manage.
Thank you to all who have posted on here in the past. Your work is an inspiration and has helped many other enthusiasts like myself create things we never thought possible.

Hey All,
Was a member a long time ago (though not in a galaxy far away) and have been collecting for many years. I'll wager some of you know me already and I look forward to meeting many more!

Currently I am on the lookout for some older props/replicas that have been made over the years past.

Escape from New York wrist tracker
Logan's Run DS and holster/belt
a better quality ST:TOS Klingon Disruptor
Fifth Element Stones
Badges from various Law Enforcement agencies such as Eureka, Haven PD, etc. Etc.

and that's just a start off the top of my head.

Cheers!

Rick

Hi all,

Have been a lurker on and of for years and jointed a couple of months ago. Mainly interested in movie prop collecting and thus this is the best place to learn about how props are made. So it's an educational thing for me to join.

Any way, hope to learn a lot here!

Hello All!

Just join the forms, but have been watching them for a while and finally decided that it was time to start building my own props

Hello everyone. My name is Pedro and I am from Spain.
I discovered this page, and try to contribute my modest knowledge.
Thank you very much and greetings

Hi guys my names Andrew but you can call me drew. I'm new to the site and activity. I'M in the beginning stages of building a replica tractor cab from my pc. I plan to use it and it's real life functions as USB controllers for farming simulator. I'll be looking for advice and tips along the way and I'll be posting updates when there are some to post. I look forward to sharing the journey with you

Hiya all! I just finished building a replica of the Vampyr book from Buffy! I actually just found this website last night and it's like all my geek dreams came true! Will post pics later!

Hey Team,

Guess I should introduce myself. My name is Cameron and almost a year ago exactly I decided to get into cosplay by making my all time favorite sci-fi character...Boba Fett. I have always been the biggest Star Wars Fan but it wasn't until I went to Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim CA that I took interest in cosplay. I'm a member of The Dented Helmet (TDH) and owe almost all of my progress to that forum. I just started a Build Thread here so if you would like to follow me I will attach links below. Cheers!

Hiya! Glad to be on RPF. I came across this forum while searching for help/ ideas/ inspiration for a millenium falcon room I am getting ready to dive into. I'll post more on that separately. I enjoy building themed rooms. My first room design was for my folks basement theater done up hacienda style. I recently completed converting my daughters basement bedroom into Diagon Alley. My boys are now after me to do up their room Star Wars themed and I am knee deep into designing it now. Finding this site has brought a treasure trove of talented people to learn from and I look forward to becoming a part of the community!

Here are a few pics of the Diagon alley room if anyone is interested. :)
