Hello,
I'm new to the cosplay world my hubby did Batman The Dark Knight last year from pepakura and Iron Man MK VII this year we attended our first Con this year as well he did not win anything for his costume unfortunately I went as Black Widow from Avengers. I'm a SAHM to two twin boys that just turned three years old. :D

I'll make this brief.

I have been a lurker on the RPF for some time, using my brother's account to look about. So I finally got the balls to do my own Batsuit build, thus I had to make my own account to show the progress. With a bit of courage, I plan to post a thread on my current situation and progression.

I have future build plans, but right now I'm obsessively trying to complete my Batsuit.

Long Live The RPF.

Hello everyone,

I am a man of many interests but my latest has been Spider suits. I am in the process of creating my own version of Spider-Man along with backstory, villians, friends, family, etc and I want to make a suit along with it. I don't much about cosplaying but I've always wanted to partake in it. Any help (no matter how detailed) is truly appreciated!

Thank you all for your time, Craft ON!

Hello!

I've heard about this site for so long, but for some reason never visited. What a fool I've been!

I've spent just under a decade working for various theming companies here in Alberta. I sculpted mascots for 6 years and moved to airbrushing and sculpting theme park pieces for the last 2.

The biggest personal costume that I've built is a Gir dogsuit from Invader Zim. But have worked on tonnes of smaller pieces from silly zombie Vader, to making sheets of latex skin and sewing it into clothing.

Can't wait to start hanging around here and getting inspired!

Hi guys! I'm Jack. I've lurked about on the site for quite some time, and finally decided to make an account.

I'm a big fan of Marvel, specifically The Punisher. I also love The Walking Dead, Fallout and Starship Troopers to name just a few.

Hey Everyone! My name is Simon. I'm getting into prop making because I'm crafty as hell and a friend is making a Batman fan film that I have been assisting in. Found this site and have already learned a bunch.

Hi gang,
My name is Brett.
I've been lurking for a while and final broke down and joined. I really don't have much time to make props or costumes anymore due to working 2 jobs (one for the man and my side job doing custom cars and trucks). I have built a lot of interactive museum exhibits for several museums in the S Eastern US and worked on a team that built several large traveling interactive exhibits. I'm always in awe and inspired by the level of detail and craftsmanship I see here on the RPF. Oh how I wish we had 3D printers when I was in the museum business. Some of the shapes we had to sculpt or carve would have been faster and easier to replace or repair win some over enthusiastic visitor decide to test the strength of the exhibit.
Keep up the great work and I hope to find time to get back into the prop work for my self soon.

Oh hey,
Kyle here. I'm a gamer and a 3D artist, but I've always liked making things. Currently working the Hunter's Knife from Destiny, which I should be finishing this month. Next big project is going to be a full suit of Destiny Titan Armor!

Oh, here's my knife status:

Hello, I have been lurking and borrowing ideas from this forum for years, finally decided to join and say hello. Here are some of the costumes my family did for DragonCon this year.

Hi! I came upon your name while researching costumes /cosplays/props. My husband and I collect props as well as we enjoy making costumes. The first one I ever made was a Stormtrooper back in 1978-79. (SW and Jaws are my 2 favorite flicks.) I bought the Don Post helmet and made the armor with heavy duty boxes, elastic straps and many cans of spray paint. It was lovely. Since then I've made a few outfits...in recent years: fem Aquaman costume, Harry Potter Puppet Pals, Riff Raff, Sally from NBChristmas...NOTHING TOO COMPLICATED. :D Props we have...death masks, prop swords and shields from Xena & Gladiator..and a few other odds and ends. We attend conventions, love old Hollywood and theatre restoration...I've been saying it for years but now that the kids are a little older I'm hoping to one day soon put together a Biker Scout Trooper uni. -

Hi, I actually joined back in October but haven't been on since then due to my busy sewing schedule. I do primarily American civil war clothing (I've worked on a couple of tv projects & museum projects with my business partners. I also volunteer my time to one of the schools for Madrigals costumes. Last year I helped my dd create a Halloween costume for the Queen's Riders (unit commander) from Wild Magic by Tamora Pierce.

My interests:

Star Wars
Star Trek
Doctor Who
Pirates of the Caribbean
Xmen
Avengers (all of them)
Harry Potter
Star Gate
Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit
Sherlock

Hi,
I'm Brandon, from the Dominican Republic,

I'm completely new to the world of creating props, but I have dabbled in some special effects while working in the local film industry.

I'm looking forward to learning tons and exploring this awesome forum.

Have a great day, guys.

Hi everyone!

I'm Emile. I'm currently going through my final year of undergrad in Art, hoping to go to grad school for either 3D FX or Puppetry/Monster Making. I found RPF only recently, but I've been making costumes and props since 2003.

I just finished creating a Magneto costume ala X-men First Class, and now I'm working on making a rod puppet of Rocket Raccoon from Guardians of the Galaxy.

Hey Everyone,
Been a fan of RPF for about a year. I stumbled upon it while looking up spiderman costumes. I'm really into Halloween, and make a lot of my costumes, and sometimes some for friends. I'm pretty good at improvising when it comes to making props for costumes. Hope to put some pics up of my work later. Really interested in getting a face shell and lenses for a spider-man costume. I've been wanting to dress up as him for halloween for a few years now, and I plan to make it happen this year. any and all suggestions are welcome.

Hey all I'm Jason from Houston, TX. I'm new to the prop building world but was have built a few costumes from scratch. NOTHING compared to the level of quality seen around this place, but hopefully I will build up my skills enough to be able to roll with the big dogs soon!

Hey i'm Steven and I love props
Yes I am a cos-player but its more than just anime for me, its bringing things from the deepest depths of our imaginations to life and that to me is beautiful
