To all, Hi there,

I am new to the site as you can see. I don't know really what to say other than I stumbled upon Pepakura a week or so ago. And fell down the rabbit hole!!! One thing led to another (project wise) and I'm hooked. The problem is that I see so many builds etc, that most of them interests me LOL.

I look forward to be a part of this community and learn from you guys. I also hope that one day I would be able to post a finished build of my own!

All the best,*

Pretty short, I'm totally new to this. I've always wanted to do a costume right and after watching Guardians of the galaxy, I'm putting together a Star Lord outfit. I've been following your thread about it and everything looks awesome. I'm buying slash trying to make some stuff. I'd say I'm creative but sadly lack the skill. I look forward to being a part of what seems to be a great community.

Hello Friends!

I've only just broken into this community but I am eager to get started on creating my own props (mainly based on media I find interesting)! I have always watched and admired prop and cosplay creators from afar, but no longer! ;) I appreciate the opportunity to be a part of this community, be able to ask my questions, and hopefully answer a few of my own some day. Thanks for your time and I'll see you around the forums. :D

Hello!
I was prompted to join here and hopefully we'll have a long an successfull relationship together. :) I usually go by Obsessive Creative Disorder (but that's too long for a user name...) and am an engineer currently located in Norway. I enjoy isolating myself from the world and engrossing myself in projects. Which I gueess is pretty common around here...

But have some pics of things I've made! Hopefully there'll be a thread or two started here soon for a future project of similar or greater epicness!

Hello all, lurker for many years. Jumped in the pool today, I would like to say I'm amazed and inspired by all the talent on display here,
Thanks, Chris

I've already had at least one RPF account deleted due to inactivity, so I'm posting here to prevent it from happening again... ^_^

I'm a member of the 501st Japanese Garrison, and represent the Legion as both Boba Fett and a Biker Scout.
My collection of Star Wars toys is legendary, and I'm currently building a five-footer Studio-scale Millennium Falcon for my 1:18th scale action figures.

I'm also a huge giant robot fan, with an army of Transformers, Gundam model kits, and Macross Valkyries at my disposal...

'Ullo all, I'll keep this short and sweet. I'm an english teacher in Korea at the moment, been here nearly 5 years (time flies way to fast). Whenever I get bored or have too much free time, I tend to wind up working on a large scale project, which is usually a costume of some kind. Currently I've gotten it out of my system with nothing in the works, but who knows how long that'll last.

a hey and a ho and a hey!

My name is Michael Prosper. I'm from California. I've been going to cons pretty regularly, although never really had the courage to cosplay as what I love until recently. I have been learning and implementing builds constantly, with much wonderful assistance from sites such as this. I'm learning about clays, foam, and woods. This site is really what allowed me to realize that I can create my own pieces. Having said that, these new productions have really made me aware of a potential I'm capable of.

I am thoroughly enjoying cosplay. It allows me the interpersonal connections that aren't so present in the day to day kind of life. I look forward to meeting and networking with many others whom share the passion. I'm a bit low key but, hopefully, by entering this community and many alike, i'll be able to rid myself of that. I look forward to learning and sharing!

Love, peace, and chicken grease

Prosper

Hi! I'm Donna :) been lurking for a few months and finally decided to join. I started cosplaying about 10 years ago and gave it up for a bit, but I wanted to give it another try! I successfully completed a costume for Gaige from Borderlands 2 and wore it to PAX Prime 2014. Hope to complete other projects!

Hello everyone,
I browse this forum for a few months, I am currently working on two helmets, iron man and war machine. This forum is full of information and advice, I finally decided to sign up to participate and contact other members. I'm happy to join the RPF family.

Hello.
I've been lurking on this site for a long time. I'm a 3d hobbyist and go here often for inspiration. It's kind of odd, but every time I come here it reminds me of the excitement I felt when those special effects shows aired back in the 80's and 90's. I'm happy to finally step in.

What's good everyone?

I've been a new member for some time now but never got a chance to introduce myself as life (work/family) has kept me pretty busy.

I came across the RPF while looking into a Dark Elf costume for Halloween ideas then again when looking into Iron costume ideas and pretty much any costume idea i can think of or when even just web searching for costume ideas and art work, the RPF is where I found myself most often. i love the talent here and can't wait to be apart of it. Needless to say this website has motivated me to start drawing again and trying other forms of art like costuming and 3d modeling. I am currently working on the Iron Man MK 4/6 and plan on doing the Mk 15,16,17,40 & 42 along with the Iron Patriot V1/V2 and the P.P. Rescue Armor. The more ambitious side of me has designed a frame to hold my suits together but have yet to develop the knowledge to bring this to light (but it'll happen). Can't wait to post my work and as always i will continue enjoying you all's creativity and hard work.

Hey all

I found this forum looking for some tips on making a Hellboy costume and kept coming back to find more things. I've always liked props and costumes so naturally I was quite pleased with everything I found on this forum. I haven't made many but hopefully being on here can help me improve
