I am new to all of this. Just wanting to start doing some costume and mask creating for my son. He loves this stuff and I am willing to do anything to make him happy.

Hello everyone,

I'm Balázs from Hungary. I just enjoy checking the topics to see what kind of awesome stuff people are doing here. Currently I'm not working on anything because of lack of time, money and experience (except a small modification on my CO 11th Doctor sonic) but I'm very interested in props (especially Doctor Who stuff) and in the future I would like to cook up something cool.

Hello,

I'm new to all of this. I'll be making costumes for my 5 year old son, for my self and some to resell. This sight looks really supportive, so I'm glad to have found it!

Cheers

Shalom!

I am so happy I found this site since I am working to host the ultimate Harry Potter Halloween Party next year. I wanted to deck out my house with pieces from the film to really surprise the guests and finding this site was like winning the lottery! Now all I need is a sewing machine for some Hogwarts robes….

Hi all, how are we doing?

my names Manne and I've been browsing this site for a while but finally decided to dive in and register.
I'm very interested in building some Props from some of my favorite super heroes and characters but have been sitting on that fence for a while.
My dream build would be a Deathstroke Arkham Origins outfit, which I can see there are some really awesome ones out there. I have downloaded the JF Customs Mask .pdo and am tempted to give it a go. Just researching where to start at the moment (Materials and process)

Well, I hope all your builds are going well and I'll be seeing you all around :)

Hi Guys and Gals.

I'm Ryan,

I've been on and off this site for a while now and I thought it was about time I registered and said Hi.
I'm a Games Designer and also enjoy making random things for my kids. I really love scrolling through all the amazing builds on here and I'm amazed how people come together and find all the small Odd parts to help each other build more accurate props.

Hello, my name is Carlos. I am from Spain. My intention is to learn a bit about Pepakura and cosplay. My first project will be the construction of IRON MAN armor, for me and my 6 year old son. Greetings from Spain.

Howdy one and all from the Mississippi Gulf Coast! My name is Josh, and I'm an 'old new' member here... I had signed up a few years ago, but only started posting about a month ago, mostly to look for various props and parts for my prop pieces. :) I have a small collection that is being rebuilt after losing practically everything in Hurricane Katrina in 2005. I've only recently rebuilt my collection back to what it was, and have even added a few grail pieces since, such as the Master Replicas Starfleet Assault Phaser and a Richard Coyle ST3 Phaser. :D I'm always looking for more pieces to add too... I'm hoping I can make a contribution to the community here and I look forward to learning more about the prop hobby!

Hello everyone!

I joined mostly because I saw how amazing of a job some people do at creating their own Spider-man costumes! I saw one of MCL34N's videos on youtube and I immediately began searching how to make my own. I came across this website and was immediately hooked! I need help making my own ASM 2 suit but I posted a thread if anyone would be so kind to help me on this because I am brand new. Thank you!

Hi!

I came to this site when I was searching for good prop references. Later I found out that some buddies of mine are also members here, so I though 'meh might as well join and get some feedback and awesome ideas or something' (or something along that line ;p). Anyway, I lurked for a while, before actually joining, because my field of work wasn't really clear yet, but as I lurked, I got some amazing ideas and I'm planning to set those in motion in the near future.

My no. 1 franchise is Gears of War, and I'm planning on doing a lot from that series here. For those who want to know; I'm from the Netherlands and still studying to become a teacher.

Thanks for having me!

Good morning, everyone!

Been lurking the RPF forums and followed the Facebook page for a while now, and finally decided to register.
I'm mostly into Star Wars, but up untill now the most I've ever made was a lightsaber from a sink pipe and niblets from the garrage at the age of fifteen.
All the awesomeness I've coming out of there has inspired me, so now I too want to make some good looking Star Wars props. And what would be a more natural place to sign up than here, then? ;)
Hopefully the scarce market for stuff like this here in Norway won't gimp me too much :)

Anyway, have a nice day guys and see you around :)

What's going on, man? The Dude, sitting here, after having a beverage...Uhhh, I guess my royal name would be Dave and what-not, but man, I prefer The Dude, so that's whatcha call me or His Dudeness or Duder or El Duderino, if you don't care for the whole brevity thing. I'm presently assembling a few full Dude ensembles and I'm even considering hunting down the correct Walkman and pager. So I'll be posting pics of my progress, as soon as I go save the girl, man.

Hey all. New to the main site but followed the Facebook one for a while.
Long term modeller . Normally smaller stuff but occasionally build at larger scales. Last full size project was a Pertwee era Dalek all scratch built. Not much cosplay apart from a TNG outfit but really intregued by the Dredd costumes (especially comic versions) or a decent Aliens one..

Hello all. I am new, although I've been a lurker for a while now. I was drawn here initially because I am a who-vian, and all the Doctor Who discussion here is just flat out incredible. The knowledge and care of all the members here is what drew me to creating an account. I have a fair amount of audio equipment building (pedal boards, speaker cabs, etc.), but I have been inspired to attempt my own Doctor Who builds soon. This is an unbelievable resource, so thank you to all who post with regularity (as I would be lost without you). I look forward to my time here.

Hi all. As with most here, I am new, but have been a lurker for a while. I am currently building a TARDIS, and plan to start posting the progress of my build. My equipment is in the third bay of my garage, so I have a very limited amount of space for my build, but I am managing the limited space fairly well. Professionally, I am a programmer, but personally I could do well as a graphics designer or artist, which when it comes to building my TARDIS, I am a person that has an attention to detail. Hopefully that reflects in the quality of my work. I appreciate seeing all the quality builds here, and people who have taken the extra effort to share their experiences.

hey there, I am a writer who has joined up to mainly ask for advice and eventually possibly maybe someday finish a costume.
currently working on. Old School blended with new school U.N.I.T officer - will be posting with a few queries vis a vie custom buttons and a few other bits.
Stylised Ace, Costume - using different badges and patches but basically aiming to get the feel right if that makes sense.
Single SM shoulder pad,

Completed costumes... I have a house costume that is well me without a shave a crumpled shirt and slacks with the flame cane from series 2 I believe.

Hello everyone. I am a Network Engineer, Practical Combat and Gun Safety Instructor. My wife and I have been long time comic and Star Wars fans and go to a lot of conventions. My wife decided to make her first costume (Spider-Woman) and now we have the bug. We are currently working on a couple costumes for a Con in April. I am loving all of the work on this board and look forward to showing something we make as well.

Just joined and wanted to say Hi. I'm Zain and look forward to see everything.

New to the forum, but have been on the Scum for a round 8 months. Found my love for props and prop replicas when my daughter was born. Always on the search. Buy, sell and trade!!!
