Hello Everyone,

I have been making models and props for quite a number of years, and I enjoy seeing the work that all of you have shown on this forum. My interest are Star Trek, 2001:A Space Odyssey, Space:1999, as well as other varied TV shows and Movies.

Thanks!

I am new to cosplay, but found this site after talking to Jessica Merizan at Planet comicob

I have just started to cosplay and tend strongly towards Sci-Fi. I have made one costume so far and wanted to share & wanted some guidance on another costume, but thought I should introduce myself first. I very much like dual purpose or functional things. In other words I want to use it for more than just dressing up.

Hey everyone my names Mike, I'm a fairly new collector and have already become addicted to high quality props and this is the perfect place for me. I hope I can find a great captain America shield replica made by someone here.

Hello everyone,
I'm clearly new here. this is fact my first post. I must say that looking through some of the posts here, I am truly blown away with the stuff you all have shared. I am somewhat of a newbie to Who compared to most I suppose. I've only been a "true" fan for about a year now but, in that year I have become obsessed with the show and obtaining as many "props" / "replicas" as I can. I started out with just the standard toys off ebay and have been working my way up as money will allow me. I also dipped my foot into the cosplay world this past year and have started cosplaying as the 10th Doctor at a few cons. Which is one of the reasons I am trying to find "better" and/or more screen accurate versions of everything related to the Doctor.
As I'm new here, I wanted to share some of my "toys" with you all. Most are not nearly as awesome as most of what I've seen here but, I'm just starting haha .. this was the start of my collection and I have grown since which I will share as well... would love to hear some feed back on what you all think.

Hiya folks!

I'm a super n00b at the moment when it comes to prop making, but I want to make more things with my hands and props seem like the perfect way to get into that.

My first project will probably be the Cael Hammer from the game Bastion. I suspect many of the Thor hammer builds will prove to be useful to me

Hello,

Just signed up today after having read about this site on Propsummit. While I do not have the talent to create props, I admire the talent and attention to detail of those that do.

I am big fan of Blade Runner and am constantly amazed at the props that I have seen created.

I'll probably be more of a lurker here, since I have no talent, but will show my appreciation for those that do!

Hi, I'm new here. I've done some costuming myself in the past, the best being the Action Pope costume I created (below) but I'm almost completely unpracticed in armor and weaponry, which is what I want to work on. My goal is for my wife and I to be Thor and Odinson for Comic Con 2015 and I'm hoping to learn some useful techniques here to make that happen. I'm open to any ideas or suggestions anyone has.

I'm looking forward to interacting with you all and learning from and sharing with you all. thank you again for welcoming me to the forum.

I have decided to create a account finally.
One goal is to at least finish one project and display it here...in that order.

Hello everyone! I am new to cosplay and everything about it, but I'm excited to dive in. I am also very open to any and all advice you can provide!!! I am going to try something simple for my first attempt: Diablo 3's monk. I am going to try and make the tunic, spear, and other pieces on my own, i.e. not purchase them. However, I'm having a hard time finding a pattern to follow for the tunic. I haven't found much in the forums about it either. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks!!!

Hi there! I live in Cape Town SA. Been a fan and visitor of this site for a long time - finally decided to post a pics of stuff I've made. Making full scale models and props has been one of my hobbies since 2000. My other hobby is making mods for FPS games. Here's are a few of my full scale props I've built over the years - I'm still working on the automation side of R2D2. Hope you like them. Love this site and the incredible work people are doing from all over the world - it inspires me to get better!
