Hey guys, Silversepiroth here. I gotta admit I'm new to cosplay. The closest thing I've done so far is a Beast costume for Halloween. But I hope to learn a lot from here, helping to make really cool, interesting cosplays. I have an idea in the wings (although I'm not entirely sure how to make everything yet) to make a tribal version of Cho'gath.

I've just discovered this site after beginning an ANH Stunt build for a spot on the 501st. I'm also working with my son on Halloween costumes for this year (all Zelda related) and eventually hope to get around to a nice Boushh build. All of this is new to me, but I'm having a lot of fun.

Hey all,
Name's ferrick, new to working on my own costumes, props, and makeup, not so new to cosplay. I've done a lot of it, whether it be militarized cosplays I threw together via airsoft sites and elbow grease or I ordered costumes from commissioners and I'm sick of doing that. I see the blood, sweat, and tears a few of my patient friends put into their self-made cosplays and they feel so rewarded, even when it doesn't come out as planned or whatever. I was referred here by a friend, I have high hopes that will hopefully get me somewhere with my planned cosplays.

I'm new here and from Kentucky. Visited a few times in the past and really enjoying the atmosphere and diversity. I don't exactly make replica props, but I am looking into it among other things. I am not artistically inclined in the slightest, so I am thinking that my focus will be weathering prefabricated objects.

Just joined the forum today. I've been a casual costumer for some time now (since 2004). I'm currently working on 2-3 costumes for conventions coming up in April. (KOTOR Jarael, GOTG Mantis & a casual ewok haha) Will be working on converting two nerf guns into blasters for Jarael once they arrive in the mail. looking forward to getting into props. Thankfully there's a bunch of helpful info here!

Found out about this site by watching a youtube video of Adam Savages one day build of Han Solos DL -44 Blaster because of my interest in trying to assemble an accurate Han Solo Costume Im sorry I don't have a collection to show as all my original star wars collection was stolen all that I have left is a R2D2 lamp that I love and have had for 30 years sure miss my millennium falcon though am excited about finding this sight [/h]

Hi All, I am a long time collector of 12+ years and part time builder/restorer. I am mostly interested in sci-fi related 1:1 or studio scale props from Star Wars, Stargate, Star Trek, Terminator, Predator, Aliens, Blade Runner, LOTR and the list goes on. Also was a big time Icons replicas collector and have a number of those including Studio scale X-Wing, ID4 Alien Attacker and a few of their prototypes including T1000 claw and endorifle. I also have a number of screen used props from Stargate, The Abyss, The 6th Day, Highlander etc. To me these things bring to life the adventures we love in the movies...........I just need a bigger house to store them all, something like Warehouse 13 should do it! New kid here, and I brought toys! I'm Joey, and I'm the guy in charge of Star Wars Moments; a series of online Star Wars short films made to highlight the lesser known heroes and villains of the Trilogy era. Most, if not all, of my posts will center on the series and its promotion, so I apologize in advance, but will try to make amends with entertainment!
I didn't go to film school but m learning every step of the way. My influences are MASH, Band of Brothers, and Firefly...and about 100 shows and movies I grew up on I've made two episodes of the series; not perfect but completed. I've lurked here a while and have a few friends on the RPF. I like batman props and costumes, OT Star Wars anything, and movie swords. Gad to be here!
