My wife wanted a Tardis mailbox, and since I couldn't find one to buy, I decided to try and build one.
After trying a number of options, I got the idea to use a standard wall mounted metal mailbox as a base which I covered with craft sticks and scrap wood I got from Home Depot. I painted it with exterior latex paint.

Since it is not to scale, I am having problems with coming up with signage that will be waterproof since this will be outside exposed to our Maine weather. Still need to find something to use for the light on top also. Not sure how to proceed.
