Hey everyone (forgot to post on here)

I am the owner of Letters of Marque, a company specialising in the recreation of props and artifacts from the Golden Age of Piracy. I have done various comission work creating belts and props for cosplay too.

I love making props and have been doing so since I was a kid. I am a big fan of Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Blade Runner and Hellboy.

I reenact/cosplay Blackbeard (the original not the PotC version) at events but am thinking of putting together a Kroenen costume.

Hi everyone, I just posted a huge forum post kind of introducing myself and asking a couple of questions in another part of the forum (hopefully the mods accept it soon) because I couldn't find the introduce yourself post at first, but now I've found it -.-

I recently found this forum over the past 2 weeks and have been lurking doing a lot of researching into the whole pepakura helmet process. I hope to begin my own project soon and have been inspired by a lot of the members here!

Found this site when I was researching the best way to start my moebius jupiter 2 model, WOW all of the talented people here just blew my mind and I just had to be a part of the community.
I'm 49 and just retired from my restaurant Hollywood Grill by the name of my restaurant you can tell I have had a long running affinity for everything Hollywood.
I have collected movie and television costumes and props that I have rotated in my restaurant displays here is a small selection af my costumes at your props;

Hello all!

Been lurking here for a month or so. I recently finished up an M8 Avenger following Lifeburn's thread. I also have tried a few Predators based on a building method one of my friends came up with. I've basically been following 'tutorials' up until this point and I think for my next project I'm going to start breaking away from that.

This is a picture of the Avenger, unfortunately the lighting's not that great.

hi all, new to the site, been looking to do some of this papakura stuff for a while but havent really found much info on it so pretty much lost interest, started looking again a few weeks ago and found this site, been a lurker for a while so thought i would sign up today.

well i am on the lookout for a few helmets to make over time, but did some downloading yesturday and found a file for the iron man mkVII so downloaded that and the pepakura viewer 3 and designer 3, i can open the iron man file in the view but not the designer so i cant scale it down, been looking for othe files but cant find any to download so will do some more searching on here for some

ill hopefully start my build in a few weeks when i can find someone nice to print it all out for me so i can start making it, will get some pics up as soon as i get started tho and show you of my progress,

thats it for now

I'm Pierre from Switzerland. I'm a longtime model maker but a prop newbie!
I am currently building a PKD blaster form blade runner and will soon begin an arc reactor (everything ordered through shapeways).

Huge fan of Iron Man, Hellboy and Constantine!

Hello my name is Harrison (No joke). I am a Star Wars fan and a fan of Harrison Ford and the character Han Solo. I live in NH and am pissed that Phil the Groundhog lied :lol.
I play PC games and like to shoot rifles and handguns.
