Hello. I've finally made an account, a good year after using this site as a reference to help me make my first costume, the Rocketeer. This site gave great tips of helmet construction, and even down to the best type of paint to use on the helmet. Thanks, everyone!

Hi RPF,

my name is Kim, I'm a Norwegian designer currently living and studying in San Francisco and I've been lurking on these forums on and off for a couple of years.

Being a graphic designer by profession, I do most of my day-to-day work in two dimensions, but I've got experience working with a variety of materials and techniques and never tire of learning whatever process is required to arrive at the right end product.

Very much looking forward to delving into this fantastic community. =)

Hello I am cool =] I LOVE IRON MAN COSTUMES(*cough*Replica costumes*cough*)! Not really but I have seen some good ones and some other work like The almighty Terminator sculpture thingy, just amazing! so I knew I had to sign up lots of talent on here so I know I can get help on future projects and randomly find good things to look at and say wowwwwwwwwww at =]

My Name is Kevin, I'm From The Netherlands. I'm not a big artist, but I try my best to make something. I'm mainly a big fan of Harry Potter, and Star wars prop. Beside I also love props from National Treasure, POTC, Hellboy, Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons. and well everything that is basicly fantasy xD. So I hope to learn and see alot here on this forum. and meet some new people and try to create some cool props my self. Feel free to ask me any questions and I'll be happy to reply them.

Hello, eventually i'm going to introduce myself. I'm a spanish chemist with passion for props and sfx. Since i was a kid in the eighties, I have collaborated in a few short films doing things like fake blood, an animatronic hand, gun shots,... A few years ago I discovered this site and I have used this site a lot for seeking information and i would like to be able to help others the same way others helped me, but i'm less than an amateur compared with the artists of this community. Thanks a lot for everything.

I found this site while I was watching a youtube video on how to make the Advance potion making book from the Harry Potter series. I'm a major potterhead and that TOTALLY inspired made me to start making more props from the movie. This website is brilliant! So far I've completed making my very first Advanced potion making book with the help from this website (Love it!). Will be looking forward to trying out the rest from this site soon.

Greeting and salutations from Kona Hawaii.
My name is Al. I have always been a pepakura fan since my friends from japan got me turned on to it. I mostly use it to make anime props (guns, swords, Ect) and also love to make sink tube sabers. I found this site just a few day ago (I know your telling me right) after I got the idea to make a 1:6 scale guyver using pepakura. As luck would have it one of my bros from japan turned me on to this site and have not been off it since. I have now made the choice to make a full armor IM suit as well as a full sized guyver suit (iron man first then guyver). Cant wait to get started and hear all the feedback.

Hi everyone! I figure it's about time I post here since I've been registered and just absorbing gobs of great information for about a year now. My name is Kevin, I live in Orlando, Florida, and I've been making random things in my house since about 2004/2005. I started out working with fiberglass and eventually moved to plastics, resins, leather, and other random things. I mostly make things from video games and anime (I sew and embroider as well) however I'm not opposed to occasionally making something from a tv show I like.
