Got my Sankara stone a few weeks ago. I'm happy with it for the value... I do think I might eventually go in on getting the skull later on. I don't think I'll be getting the grail, but I might get the idol.

So I just got my Skull and I am IN LOVE WITH IT! Will say my piece on it but what percentage are these cast member discounts? I am really tempted to get another one to do some minor mods to in the future.

It varies. Mine was 30% but more tenured CM's can get 40%. Even more during the holidays.

Alrighty so I LOVE THE SKULL! Always have since I saw the movie, just something about the prop I find myself attracted towards much like the green from the JP explorer. Generally good size, slightly smaller than original prop from what I've heard the prop to be in length but the weight of it I feel adds to its beauty. Have some shots comparing it to the 2008 Crystal Skull Projector for reference. It is missing the sutures which is a real DOWNSIDE to a replica this size and for the amount of money for sure no arguing there. This size prop I know for certain it would’ve been possible to add them to since I know they have them on the crystal skeleton collectable figure and that’s 3.75” scale. Anyways there is the “cracking from the resin” which is most noticeable in the eye sockets, especially as the sockets get deeper into the skull. The interior of the cranium with its “saran wrap texture effect” really adds to the realism of the replica overall. Makes a great night light for sure, and took a flash photo of it with the lights on in it and made the overall skull more blue in the photo so that was a cool discovery. Should you get it? If this is a movie prop you’ve always wanted and loved seeing, then I say yes, but is it worth the 250$ for me not to the full extent of what I would expect and see of this prop in hand. I agree with one of the reviews on the Disney shop site, 150$ seems more fair for the size and details of it.

I have a casting, Ill post also, I got it over 20 years ago....allegedly with lineage to production. But even back then we questioned everything.

May I ask what the deal is with the Idol? Is this sold out or only online?

It is still available (or at least the last time I visited the parks it was). It's also sold online with varying availability.

It comes up on the site sometimes. its already been out and back up. this is the 2nd time it sold out or came down from the site. I would just keep checking the site to see when it comes back up. I would maybe call Disney store and ask them

I was at Magic Kingdom yesterday and they did have some items for Indiana Jones at the Pirates of the Caribbean store.
No Idols, Skulls, Grails or Stones. Only some shirts, foam machete, plastic torch, fanny packs, and his Fedora, but the hat was more Rubbie's than anything. 54.00 dollars. And of course, the staple Mickey / Indy items. I might just buy that dang stone online even though it's not at all considered to be accurate. It's really popular for some reason. I was hoping to get a look at it in person along with the other posted pieces.

Do you already have a Restaurajones set? If not, I suggest you skip the Disney one, and get a set of his... I don't know if he will do singles... If you do the math, his stones are less than $10 more (each) than the Disney one, and you will be oh so much happier with them...
