ok finally got a camera so here's my steampunk lighting blaster. note the flashes in the lighning generation chamber inthe 2nd picture. that's 5 randomly flashing leds buried inside a bunch of transparent blue lego bits

Could I make a small recommendation? You should paint and weather the lego gears and maybe stick some bolts in the holes to disguise them. Otherwise, it's a great looking piece.

i'm a big lego builder so have decided to use some lego somewhere on whatever i build. i think i will paint the gears tho. kinda hard to see but i have lego gems stuck in the holes on the gears

Hey guys,

I've been busy building a tonne of props and costumes for a webseries i've been shooting (currently in post) I wish I had taken more progress photos, but there are a few there.

Specs called for a gigantic sniper rifle.. so I combined a Longshot and a Longstrike, and a few other bits and bobs. I'll take some better close up photos of the prop soon when i get the chance. For the meantime, here are some production photos.

Thanks guys! Yeah the scope is further forward, and stocked up off the gun to make room for the singular lens in the characters helmet/facemask.

With the lovely gap in the forward part of the gun, i found it the best model to put a 'bow' in.

The gun is made in a 'construction montage' and is meant to look shabby and scrap built.
