And the knife needs its sheath. Good find on the boots! Everyone thought they were Nike sfb's!
Yea, That's what I said in the research thread too is that the stunt boots are the SFBs. I just happen to be looking through pics and saw the 5.11 on his heel. It seems like they went with a lot of 5.11 gear for this costume which is really coolThe boots we identified WERE Nike SFBs. As stated, they were probably stunt boots and this new find are the hero boots.
[UPDATE] Found the hero costume boots.

Yea I remember that trick from BMT as well, Thanks for your service IchibansI don't know if you know about this, but you can dull it with nail polish remover or rubbing alcohol. The boot will be dull but the leather will need a leather conditioner afterwards. I used to be in the military, and back when we wore the black combat boots they came with a factory shine. The lighting in the picture just emphasizes it in the amazon picture. But they do come with a bit of shine already.

So the research that I've done has lead me to try a clear plastic plus this stuff called "expanded vinyl" It's the stuff they put on the widows of buses that you can see out of but not into. I figured I'd try some white of that if I can figure out where to get my hands on it. If that ends up not working I'll do more searching and let you all know what I find. Still waiting on Black Kaos for my number to be called to buy his face shield. Once I get that I intend to work the mask ASAPLet me know if this is off topic, but has anyone figured out a good way of recreating the white eye look? I know there's some images with mo-cap markers for the really expressive, dynamic stuff, but this photo shows that there's at least one version of the mask that has built-in lens:

Far as I can tell it's not mesh either, so unless that kid is blind while wearing it there must be something else going on
