Movie Deadpool costume!!

I've been lurking around the thread for awhile and there are two things I'm wondering:

1) Is anyone not doing a hard shell mask? I've got a few ideas to try, but wanted to see if anyone has had success.
2) The shoulders. Has anyone identified what they use? Or found a good substitute? I was originally thinking neoprene, but that doesn't mold.

Could use 5mm foam.. It would hold the shape and stay flexible

I'm actually thinking 2mm foam. I was a little worried it wouldn't hold it's shape well enough, but it seems to be doing fine.

i actually tried both. 2mm is the way to go. 5mm is way to thick.
In the movie they probably molded them an cast them in rubber and the added stretch leather.
