Mark poon's mag

I don't know the shore, i don't think it's realy wearable, for some minutes perhaps, but for many hours, i think no !

Mine is OC80A.

I was originally thinking melting and casting hot glue sticks, but then discovered that on a hot side walk, the soles might just melt right off and leave a sticky snail trail behind me as I walk down the street.

:lol:lol:lol Very fun ! I don't have changed the entire sole because i was not sure it was sufficiently hard for this.

I have just tryed to change the luminous side

What did you use to get the waffle pattern?

I did both the sides and bottom. I have also filled in the gaps on the normally exposed foam mid-sole so that the entire sole is harder and will stand up to wearing.

.

Just plastiline (chavant ?) to take the print on the original sole .

And cast silicone on the plastiline mold.

You can re-use the plastiline more and more !

Very cheap solution :)

Even if the Mark Poon Mags don't fit they look really great as display shoes. Just look at Brad's set up. They even got rented out for a photo shoot.

Ya, but for me if they aren't wearable they aren't worth having. Half of the fun with props is playing with them. :)

Really, you can leave it in there?

Yes you can leave the hard shoe form in there. The reason I take it out is that it helps with my feet fitting in there and it makes it SO much easier to install the wires and battery.

Yeah, but only if I have two identical pieces. At least one of them is a "please don't touch" piece behind glass. ;)

Which is why I still have my MP MAGs. I am building my wearable (leather) MAGs and will keep (and do up) the MP MAGs for display.
