Re-Animator Syringe type

Hello there…

I’ve been searching for the model / type of syringe Herbert West uses in the “Re-Animator” but I am struggling to find anything and so I thought where better to ask than the collective minds here.

Here’s a reasonable image of Herbert with the syringe. As you can see the hypodermic needle looks like it screws on, but more modern syringes seem to use a different system.

Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

take a look at the syringe John Travolta used in Pulp Fiction. Looks like the took the needle from one of those, and stuck it on a regular plastic disposable syringe

Thanks for the info. This helps. I think you’re right that they stuck the needle on to a regular plastic syringe.
