Mandalorian Season 3

Whoever made his armor probably had a sample book. Gideon saw that Maul style Mando helmet and went "Sweet...". The dumb thing is that a lot of fans figured this was leading to some connection to the Maul Mandos and nothing. The writers aren't that clever.
My exact thoughts.. very disappointed if we find out there was no lineage to maul

If so, he just rose a peg in my esteem.
(not because I don't like Maul, but because he was frickin CUT IN HALF. He's done.)
Amen!

His stomach, intestines and all lower vital organs, including the ability to expel waste matter are all GONE!

Wait, I forgot. Only Jedi die from lightsaber wounds.

God Father of AI quits google...

As a writer, I am concerned that my thought process will no longer be needed. Publishers, who want to produce Sherlock Holmes stories, just need to plug-in very specific details of how the story should go from chapter to chapter, and they will get a Conan Doyle quality story that they do not have to pay for, and can publish. As an editor, I use Grammarly for the first pass to catch all the obvious errors that writers make. But then, it starts to recommend what it thinks is better dialogue. It’s a bit concerning to say the least.

Im not a computer guy, so I may be laughed at when I say this

But im afraid of AI some how activating nuclear weapons..

It's not just writing but it can also do imagery. Still images for the moment, but won't be long until it can do video too. There's already deepfake porn. The Running Man is becoming true as we speak.

Even worse than what I just mentioned, it could imitate politicians, etc, or even members of the public. Compromising videos of people of events that never really took place. A third party terrorist group throwing out a video of the President saying they just launched nukes at Russia, Russia unwittingly thinks it's real and responds in kind. The world wouldn't figure it out until it was too late. No AI hacking for nuclear codes or anything, no Skynet needed. The internet once being a place that allowed for instant communication and a way to find out useful information in seconds containing all the knowledge of mankind. Only now it's going to take even longer to find out what is true and what isn't. Even live videos would have to have some kind of check and be confirmed. In a world where bad actors promote idiotic conspiracy theories for personal gain, recent events have only proven the problem is only going to get worse in the future, not better.

And we all thought Holodeck Psychosis was only going to be a problem if you were stuck inside the holodeck.

Just the other day there was a US Senator who became aware of a speech made by AI in his style, and he was impressed and a little concerned.

The most intelligent lifeforms in Earth's history may also be the first to go extinct because of its own stupidity.

But chin up, happy times ahead, folks!
