Mandalorian Season 3

Boy…the Mandos are sure lucky that the Raptor of Lake Powell doesn’t do like most predators and immediately kill their prey and spit the masticated bits into their chicks’ mouths….

I wondered why they were able to casually plan their attack, sleep, and get up the next morning and proceed with the rescue.

A pretty pointless episode, in my opinion….indeed, “this is the way”.
While team Mando stops for dinner and a nap.

‘The Sabered Hand’ cameo was the absolute best!

Mando wins, cut the lights, that cameo alone put the show on the top of my list.

I actually wouldn’t mind a one off series with Best.
The Book Of Master Binks…
They should completely embrace the Darth Jar Jar storyline, & have Best portray BOTH Darth Binks AND Beq, the Jedi that discovers the secret & takes him down.

This is the missed opportunity:

I would be on board with that even if just a parody

They sure have sure done worse ideas like the "somehow Palpatine" returns thing

I just couldn't get past the fact that Ragnar basically lived IN THE STOMACH of this thing, overnight. Not to mention that Bo followed the raptor to it's nest, marked it's location, went back to recruit & equip the war party, camped overnight, scaled the cliff, & the raptor shows up, probably from maybe hunting, WITH THE KID STILL IN IT'S STOMACH.

LOL

I'm sure that there's a canon explanation, like the raptor has several compartments in it's guts, with one that particularly is evolved to keep prey alive until it's ready to eat it.

Doesn't need to be in her stomach, she could have some inaccessible cliff to stash prey so it's easily retrievable when the chicks are ready to eat the next morning. She flies to the nest, checks are still eating the last thing she caught, so she brings him back the next morning.

Fair point.

It was just that it carried him away in her talons, but regurgitated him up to her chicks. I was thinking if she'd just stashed him, she'd have carried him to the chicks, or at least eaten him far enough in advance to have partially digested him.

Lest we forget, 2 episodes before this, a couple of Mandalorians swam (well... one of them fell) to the bottom of an indoor lake, and when they got back to shore, neither of them were dripping wet.

Clearly the Mandos have some crazy effective Dri-Fit technology on their armored suits.

Lucas also allowed the creation of the 80's cartoon shows Droids and Ewoks which he likely wouldn't have stood behind had he actually a massive problem with Star Wars weekly television series'.
