Mandalorian Season 3

I can't get over how silly this cardboard Mando looks, what were they thinking?! If Boba had looked like this in 1980 in ESB I doubt he'd be as popular today...

That's a Foundling. A child.
They could've still made it look better IMO, child or not, it still looks cheap to me. Theres also adult background Mando's that look like pretty bad Mando merc outfits but that's just my 2 cents.

And we're not even talking about one of the Mando's using Dins season 1 prebeskar chest piece. Ah well :(

I guess fashion sense is in short supply for the children of the watch.

I so hope they don't bring Thrawn into this mess. He needs to be in a standalone series. I would say I'd want Favreau to helm it, but quickly losing faith in him. Is there anyone out there that would respect the source material and do it justice. Probably no one at Disney.

The Mandalorian childrens’ gear was of very high quality, and on par when compared to prior productions.

Why, just compare it to this production-used costume worn by Podling Boba Fett (yes, all creatures in Star Wars are produced by being grown in a pod, like bean plants) in Attack of the Clones

I waited a bit to watch the episode, and well, ......... *Yawn* I was really disappointed. I thought it jumped around too much; I could think of a lot of reasons to send him to his present quest/destination than the current plot reason. This episode was just really bland in my opinion. After going so long between seasons, I guess my expectations were too high. I am not ready to call it done quite yet, but I was disappointed at the end of episode 1 that I renewed my D+ subscription for the letdown. I am not throwing in the towel yet on this, but man, my excitement was deflated quickly.

Pretty sure they are setting up for Thrawn to be the antagonist of the Ahsoka series…

When you think that the 501 and the many cosplayers, here on the RPF, could do a much better job in the costume dept. than the extras I've seen on that series and TBOBF:rolleyes: :(
I'm sure that the costuming could do a better job, if they didn't have the constraints that they have to work under being part of a TV production. First off, they have a budget to work with, while a lot more money than most, if not all, cosplayers have to work with, the costuming dept. has to spread it out across the entire season. They have X number of main characters to clothe, create spares for them, and make duplicates (along with spares) for stunt doubles. Then they have to make costumes and, sometimes, spares for extra and stuntmen. On top of all of that, they only have so much time to do so and due to union rules, they only have so much time to work on them each day without going into OT, which the studio is almost certainly reluctant to pay unless absolutely necessary. So, as a result, the production is going to take shortcuts to save both time and money.

Put out a casting call for extras. Bring your own costume, if good enough. Pay a little above scale for them and you might get a better production.
I am surprised that no one has started an agency that specializes in cosplay. With all the remakes and franchise movies it might work. You never know.
;)

I wish they would have him go stash Grogu away with one of his "friends" while he goes off and does his thing. I mean they're selling enough Grogu stuff that they don't really need to constantly have him there.
