Mandalorian Reference Thread

Here's a video from Hasbro about making the Nerf Amban Pulse Rifle. I love the loading mechanism, but that's about it. There are just so many disproportionate pieces and the size is way too far off. I haven't cancelled my order yet, but probably will.

So was Boba wearing two different belts this episode? In the beginning it looks like hes got his original pouch belt on, and then later he's got the tusken bandolier again.

Yea. in that one shot he's got the sand person belt on. when you posted it, I assumed it was a continuity choice they made so that his pistol holster wouldn't be flopping around or hanging at the wrong angle for the seated shots, so they could have him rotating in the cockpit. But the later shot when he take off and rotates, he's wearing the "new" belt with the holster tucked back.

So I'm not sure what caused it, but I'd assume it's just a continuity error, rather than having "ship" belt vs an "off ship" belt or anything :p

His EE-3 looks like a hybrid between ROTJ and ESB. I'm into it. Clearly an all-new build-- an ROTJ like barrel, but stock greeblies more like ESB. People over on TDH are hating the paint job, I kinda like it. Clearly he painted it if it was Jango's armor, so why not touch it up upon getting it back? I know we're supposed to worship and value the original stuff, I certainly would take an ANH/ESB Graflex over a skinnyflex any day-- but I rather like that Fett's armor is better realized now with all the gadgets being seen, the LED details etc.

Yeah, I love the new look. The armor looks really cool overtop of the robes. Honestly, I think he looks better than in the OT.

I was never a huge fan of Boba Fett though previously. I was in the, "Vader does all of the hard work for him and he gets knocked into the sarlacc by a broomstick," camp. Also, I thought child Boba was SUUPPERR annoying in CW and AotC.

The paint job grew on me as the episode went but it was definitely jarring initially. If you want to get analytical it might be a little bit traumatic for him looking at his armor in its Sarlaac’d state so he touched it up when he got a chance. I like this older, reformed Boba they’re going for.

I really disliked his look last week. The heavily damaged multi-colored armor on top of those thick black robes just wasn't doing it for me at all. I was hoping he'd get some upgrades this week, and WOW! I love his new digs. I honestly never thought I'd like a freshly painted and clean Fett, but boy was I wrong. He looks as badass as he ever has. The clean armor looks great on the all black undergarments, the new belt is sweet, and I like the new EE-3 design.

I honestly can't stop looking at photos of his new look. I've been thinking about repainting my BS Fett helmet as the Cobb Vanth version but now...

I have a couple extra BS6 Boba Fett helmets and told my wife I could paint one from Episode 14 and one from Episode 15. The Episode 15 version would take a bit more work because I'd have to fill in all the molded scrapes in the paint first to make it smooth, but it sure would look cool.

How about those Tank Trooper outfits though? I love love love those. Hope someone sends me a helmet for paint sometime.
I may have to pick up a kit and do it for myself either way.
Loved the new color.

Also, the new EE3 looks like it has an almost rebel blaster muzzle.

Just made a dedicated thread--
