Boba Fett's New EE-3 from Mandalorian

I think this thing is awesome. It's a pretty new design... maybe it looks different because Fett had to rebuild it after Luke chopped in in two. Maybe it's a newer model from the post ROTJ era. Maybe it's an EE-6 or EE-3R or who knows what.

Regardless of the in-universe explanation, I actually like it over the ESB and ROTJ versions-- and you can see design cues taken from both of those models. WOuld love for others in the know, or with gun-eyes to help figure this if this is all new, or if it is built on something existing, or what.

Did they embed those stock details into the wood? That's a cool detail.
I suspect this was inspired by some of the reference pics of the ROTJ prop that was wired with a charge to spark up when Luke chops it. The controls for that practical effect where set inside the stock.

I feel like this was not the usual "bang some stuff together" Kit bash approach for stuff in the background. This design feels dedicated and full of intent.

I can not wait to get a replica of this one. Omg. That thing is awesome!
I wonder if we’ll have to wait until next year for more photos and details?

Im having a tough time with the ribbed mid section compared to the lengthwise ridges. Also 4x scopes are so overrated, wish were smaller

Super excited to see embedded greeblies and the machined ridges - maybe they used one of the flare pistols and built the rest, necessating a "joint" section
