So far I see 4 votes for Option A , 5 votes for Option B and 1[extremely helpful] vote for "either way is fine" (I'm looking at you Danny).
Lets get some more opinions on this to help make a decision.
Also, the next point I'd like your opinion on is when to release these. I can finish the files pretty quickly, and once I get final measurements from Dan I can start printing/cutting and taking payments well before Dan starts shipping the actual lightsabers.
OR I can wait until I have one in hand (i'm on the list for one) and do a test fit on all of them in case there are any minute tweaks.
One option will have them in your hand waiting for the lightsaber. The other will have you waiting to be able to paint it. Exact measurements are just that... exact. and 99.9% of the time there is no need for correction. I'm fine doing it either way. I'd like you to have them ready by the time the hilts start shipping, but I'd also have to ship them all out only to find out that one of the stencils overlaps a hair or could stand to be .2 mm taller or something.
So what do you think? Option 1. ship as soon as I can or Option 2. wait until mine is delivered, do a test fit, and then ship?
I'll keep track of current standings of these options on the first post.

Option A - sounds like people who wanted to rough theirs up were able to do so. Not sure if going in reverse is as easy. That's my rationale.
And I vote for waiting to test fit.

Option 2, I’m ok waiting until the test fit.
And I know I already voted for option A, I’m not trying to cast multiple votes (does ordering 3 sets get me more votes??), but it seems to me that anyone can get option A and roughen the edges to look like B, but you can’t get option B and make it look like option A, which is more accurate to the prop. Am I right I understanding this?

Please put me down for 2x sets of stencils. I prefer option A since we should be chipping the edges after anyhow
