Shooot, just getting ready to email ya but I think it's totally unnecessary. Those rings look pretty close ratio-wise to what I've got.

Considering the "Shuttle" pics, I think the grip rings are just a millimeter or two wider than the base of the "grenade" ring. Unless you're going for more idealized look, it looks great!

After I get the final design I will check with the shop for pricing, they are still finishing romans sabers and my crystal chambers.

MCM can you still send me what you got?

as for the designs I based them off images of the cast in 3d, and help from fellow members

If you took this a step further and made it a hilt that could have electronics, blade installed , you'd sell more.

Roman just sent me 2 clamps about a month back and they both had the GRAFLEX logo across them so, I know he sells them. If he has them in stock, that is another question entirely all together....

I'm interested as long as the sizing isnt based on those resin screen cast sabers, they have been proven to be several generations shrunk from the original. I would use t he length measurement in the book the ILM photos came from.

All the grooves are different depths. Another detail you may want to consider.
