Forgive me if I missed it I'm on my phone so it's easy to look over things but for the eyes as what is the mesh material over them? Are acrylic sheets similar to plexiglass?

I cannot lie, that looks sick! I really like how clean it is and the fact that it replicates what you see on the movie. Awesome job!
I coudn't replicate what you did because one set of my leds were broke but I made do with one set. Not as screen accurate as yours but I'll still rock it!

we did not use any mesh material... but regarding plexiglass, i think it is similar to acrylic sheets...

Its been a while since my last update on this... been busy on completing the orders that came-in...

Anyway I just wanted to show everyone a freshly primed helm cast...

At first I bondo some pin holes and bubbles on the cast... then sanded it smooth...
After that is the first coat of primer filler... then sand it again...

I covered the inside using news paper to avoid painting it...

I strongly recommend to avoid painting the inside of the helm since you'll be gluing/attaching some padding, hinge system and other thing inside... it will be a better bonding if the glue or adhesive will be directly in contact with the inner wall... paint on the other hand will weaken the bonding of any parts that you will attach...

On with the 2nd and final coat of primer...

Looks exactly like the master plug...:love

This helm is actually one of the orders I am working on...:thumbsup

Sorry for not much updates...

I'll be back working on the hinge system as soon as I finished all the orders on hand...
