So this suit is really legit to the movie huh. . . I got to admit this kind of . . .meh. .I was hoping for a new suit design. .not repaint. .

I'm quite certain that this is a shopped image. Although i may be wrong.
How come all the other images were multiple images of the same stuff? And from a distance? yet we only have one blurry close up of the suit?

Watched some of your YouTube vids, do you have a tutorial you followed for the cannon motorization? Or do you just have that level of electronic expertise already? And the ab plate looks great btw

They cnfirmed it Is from the set unshopped totally 100% authentic suit and I LOVE IT. I always love the Mark 42 armor but I just never liked the paint job too much I think the more red looks better

that was my first time man, and thats not a arduino-servo driven mechanism, its just a worm gear motor box from tamiya. .trial and error man. . .
anyway i'm working on the codpiece now down to the thigh. . .

Well thats news man. At least those people who already had a Mark 42 costume will just repaint their costumes. :lol

Just wanted to share my friend's Iron-Patriot suit, built and painted by me jackieisrockin's file.
I made this last November 2013. He did some adjustments on the legs and the boots. Good to see some of my builds at the hands of good people :lol

btw guys i dont thinnk they will use the same design in the avengers 2 since tony destroyed the mark 42 in iron man 3
my guess is they will do the same thing as in the avengers 1 : use an old suit but cgi the new one (just like they did with the mark VII)

you got it right man, and despite of them being the smallest pieces in the legs, i hate detailing them :lol i always work on them last.
and about the floor. . .cleaning the floor is not my priority until i finished this suit :lol
