Imperial Shuttle Tydirium

I'd love to know this as well so I can continue the upgrade of the Shuttles I got fro Rich?

I also think there may be an A wing ID in there?

Credit for this find goes to pro kit part hunter and scratch builder Big John Curilla.. John said he was going through known used ROTj kits (donor for AT-St) and found the Shuttle jack pot... the kit has 8 parts. the kit you seek is the 1/32 Tamiya F-14 Tomcat

Thanks againt to John and Neil for the opportunity to re release this kit in all its accurate glory!

Steve

Thank you guys ! And kudos John !! Very nice find ;)
It looks like we need 2 kits for a shuttle, I think I gonna buy a set of castings from you Steve !

John also found the rods with circle details on the ends on the bottom of the shuttle... there are four of them .. from the Tamiya 1/25 Centurion... John is a machine! Neil used parts form the gun motor carrige on his master. Tox no problem on the parts.. i'll just put them in the box with the tie parts.

I need your address again..

Steve

Great find John once again and thanks for sharing Steve ! Now I dont know if I will be able to remove the ones of my bulkhead :s

Thanks Steve,

Gonna drop you a pm !

I put bluetape over the window, cutting it perfectly to shape...

...then took the tape off in one piece, laid it on a piece of thin clear styrene, using it as a guide to cut out the window, cutting it a little larger so I could fine tune it, then using a hair dryer (a heat gun was too hot and warped it) slowly bent it to shape.

It took about 3 tries to get it right. After I got it the right shape, I painted the back of the glass flat black.

WOW! I'm probably echoing everyone else here, but this is the first time I have seen this. Truly amazing. And thanks for the info on making the window.

Getting closer guys!

Hardest thing Ive had to do... cut apart Neil's master patter!! (well built by the way very smartly done.. Neil you are a true master! I hope I can do justice to this piece of art you have created! I have a plan for upper and lower shells on a alluminum and acrylic armeture.. had to be done.. pressure cast no bubbles.... resin will not support any part of the model..

thanks for looking

Holy Sh1t! :wacko That couldn't have been much fun. How the hell did you cut through all that acrylic?! Nicely done. I hadn't even considered building the hull in two halves. Makes perfect sense now though.:)

Is the armature going to be similar to what was supporting the fuselage pattern?

Did you get my PM?
