I was going to try to order some quills from WB's Japanese store (And send them to my friend's place), but the one ones I want already sold out....if I know this place much earlier, maybe I will have some chance to buy them from you.....*Sigh*

I meant to post this awhile back but the Japanese Harry Potter shop permanently closed in February of this year. So if you have any of the Japanese stuff in your collection it just became a whole lot rarer.

Hi guys,

I need some info. I was reserching online about the Harry Potter vertebrae candles as I was thinking of selling mine and came across some very interesting things. Turns out these are quite rare and valuble? I bought mine from the Noble Collection store inside of Hamleys toy shop in central London a few years back. I wanted to get more but they said that they couldnt get anymore and I was lucky to get these. Can anyone tell me if mine are the correct ones that everyone wants? I have attached some pics. One has the mini candle in and is in perfect condition, the other sadly never came with the mini candle as it was a display piece that I purchased as they didn't have anymore. It has sone light scratches on the base but nothing majour. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, thx for your reply. Ok great. Have you any other info on these. Where would be the bst place to sell them? I'd like to sell to a collector if I could so they would find a good home. I live in the UK but am coming over to Sates in July for 5 weeks.

You could try putting up a sale thread in the JY (junkyard/classifieds) section, but I think you will need to be a member for at least 45 days and have 20 posts made. There's always ebay, but I hate the fees on there.

Yeah I know what you mean about the fees but sometimes its the best way to reach the most people. I could try a specialist auction over here. Maybe one in London. Looking at price ranges it seems anything between $800 to $6000! I mean I want to get as much as I can for them and it would be amazing to get 6k but are they really worth that much? I hate to be greedy and go for a large sum but it could really help me out with my America trip!

Ebay would certainly get more eyes on it; that's quite a range for the price! You could always do a high buy it now with offers. Definitely a great rare prop, and you should get as much as you can for it

Well that is an interesting question, there is a lot of confusion?? on that subject. One sold on ebay for $3800 back in 2008 I believe. A non ebay site said they recently sold one for over a thousand and then another one for $6450 on 7/1 but there is no way to verify that. Then there was one on ebay last week that sold for only $810 and it looks to be the same people so it is really hard to say. The last one on ebay also said there was only 16 of them which I find hard to believe. If so then I personally would know where over half of them are which seems unlikely to me.

im a good collecotr and i have found these on ebay, now i have found a place down the road that sells just one of these. im thinking of buying it and just keeping it in the box and never leting it see daylight ;D

Thanks! I've added some more pics, and there's more on their way. I'll be adding some HQ images of a few of my personal items Pobjoy Mint Coins, 3 Japanese Wands, and a Promotional Wand (When it arrives!).
