Harry Potter free paper props - all movies and more!

The are some great bottles Barney, I especially like the one with the pump. Really cool.

Also great work on the Ministry cup sleeve!

I agree bfd, great job all around :thumbsup You really got lucky with the Slug container!!! I love all the different types of bottles you were able to find. Great scrounging talent sir :)

I had a idea. I don't have good computer skills, so I can't do this, but it would be cool to have a pottermore envelope and a welcome letter inside. Just a thought if anyone wanted to try it.

To wit...I scored some neat bottles to finally use with the great potion labels posted on this thread and thought I'd share them. I was lucky enough to get the lot for $2.00 at a local thrift store. I especially like container for the slug repellent. Looks very HPish.

The bottles are empty right now so I'll have to find something appropriate to fill them with and make the labels look a little more "used".

I'm loving the slug repellent container... looks like the plant mister I used to play with at my grandma's house.

I've got to find one of those.

On a completely separate note... I finally got my Pottermore email today!!!!

MINISTRY MUNCHIES COFFEE CUP SLEEVE

Made a couple of minor revisions. Print out on 8.5" x 11" paper, fold along marks and glue the ends together.

Examples of finished sleeve in post 4013 on page 161

Nice job on the coffee labels barney. One little problem I had, when I clicked on the bottom picture, I get an error message, it says it can't be retrieved.

@Wooze; thanks and good to hear from you!

Scrounging is fun especially at the prices I found. The best place for neat little items like the bottles and containers is the Salvation Army Thrift store or a place called Value Village. They get new stuff in all the time.

"Scrounging talent"...I wonder if that could go on my resume...:lol

@KellieM: that is exactly what i thought when I saw the plant mister...Grandma used to have one just like it!

Thanks ec, good to hear from you. How are your books coming along??

I haven't done much lately with the props, but I've been wanting to make a Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore or one of Gilderoy lockhart's books, but they're quite a bit more complicated with the foiling and textures. I can almost do the dumbledore book, but can't find an appropriate green colored foil for the Rita Skeeter name...

Hi everyone! Thanks @goldensnidget and @barney for your designs! You're seriously both awesome!
Back at the first pages of this thread someone (I think, though I'm not sure, it was @Gryffindoor1 with barney's help) did a license for apparation. Based on that design and in the Ministry of Magic ID card I made my version (only because I thought it was a bit simple to be from the wizarding world [and I don't mean the park :lol]).
The image I attached is the low quality version, I'll see then how to post the better one. I'm making the back part for it as well.
I just wanted to know if you guys liked it... If there's something wrong tell me so I can change it, and also if you think License of Apparation is better than License to Apparate tell me so I can change it. Thanks!

Oh thanks guys! @gryffindor1991 haha I can't believe I spelt gryffindor like that! I mean I also forgot it was 1991.
Anyway, I forgot to say I used a lot of things from barney's MoM ID... Thanks.
@Barney please, tell me what you'd change, you're much better at designing paper props I am. Plus if don't like your recommendation (which is very unlikely to happen) I'll probably tell you so.

I agree, there's been some great stuff in the works here. @bfd, your slug repellent looks terrific. Would you share the label, or direct me to it with a link? I didn't see it on the front page.

Here are the images for making paper Spectrespecs. The first link is plain frames. The second and third are the background/overlay for foiling. The fourth and fifth are lenses (print on clear film).

@Rubeus Hagrid: I did not mean I would change anything with your license I just meant i might do it differently, don't know how or what really but everybody has their own ideas of how they might do the same thing.

I think my comment comes off a little pompous sounding and I assure you that was not my intention. You did a nice job on the piece...period.

@goldensnidget: I used the Slug Repellent image off HP Wiki and adjusted it a bit to suit the container I was using.

I've attached both images for reference.

Thanks Barney. I have a can I've been hanging onto for a few years, waiting for that label.

In honor of autumn, here are some pumpkin juice labels. It's a good time of year to make a bottle if you live near Michael's Crafts, since they usually have cellophane bags of miniature gourds in the floral section. The pumpkins are just the right size for bottle toppers -- you just have to paint them solid orange and add a stem. Also, Duvel Belgian Ale bottles are the right shape and size.

I know, I was thinking the same thing. Maybe try overpainting the letters with puffy metallic paint? They appear to be embossed as well as foiled, so you might achieve both effects simultaneously that way.
