Harry Potter free paper props - all movies and more!

Also including my version of the Tooth Splintering Strong Mint label that they later used for the screaming yo yo at Universal.

You go PotionMistress!

Here's another candy:

I assumed when reading Prisoner of Azkaban that these would be lollipops. However, if you see them in the Honeydukes tour on the POA DVD, they look more like turquoise M&Ms. I guess the idea is that you "pop" them in your mouth? Anyway, that's the label.

Oh cool...I was just about to ask if anyone had a better close-up of this one..you read my mind...

This is the link to the German foil supplier. It's the only place I've ever seen it sold online, and it took me months to hunt it down (after harassing the manufacturer in China). They do ship to the US, but the costs are scary expensive.

Modulor:*ALUMINIUM HANDICRAFT FOIL ROLLS, STAR EMBOSSED <<Aluminium Paper <<Handicraft Paper

Ugh!! I'm so frustrated!! So I contacted the company through their website, just to see what the actual shipping for 10-20 sheets (18"x24" at about $1.50 per sheet) would cost and I get this in an email.

Thanks a lot for your enquiry and your interest.

We are sending from time to time overseas but for more larger orders and only for specific products due to air restriction.

The time that we have to invest for the customs duty, freight evaluation is not in relation with a product which costs only 15 dollars. I am sorry that we can not make the shipment in this case.

I count on your understanding.

Best regards,

Frédérique Regnier

So, my German friend, what size of shipment do I need to make for you to even give me a price quote?!?!?!?!

Guess it's plan B... but I thought I'd share in case anyone else was toying with ordering.

Oh, that is frustrating! Three years ago, it was expensive, but at least you could get them to quote it.

What group are you making the boxes for? As much as I love authenticity (and I really really do), the overwhelming majority of people will never know the difference. Especially when you're talking about the inside of the box.

Aloha all.. In case Potter fans have missed my post, I just received my Antique Harry Potter Box Set today..

Yea...I really only wanted it for mine and a couple of gifts....but have a couple of back UPS for the neighborhood gathering.

I'll post more once I see which version is better.

Those aren't official, are they? Some just put new a new cover on the normal ones, yes? are they American or British?

as for the Liquorice, it spelt with a Q... unless americans spell it different? but the spelling on the Liquorice Wands was correct, since Harry Potter is British.

Ignorant Americans annoy me- no offence, though the people here don't seem ignornant:)

No, I'm aware of the British spelling. We spell it over here with a "c." There are many variations to be aware of on the props, such as "flavour" on the Bertie Botts boxes (the American line sold by Jelly Belly eliminates the u; I don't know how Universal spelled it on their reproductions). There are also some "in" jokes in the names of the candy that aren't obvious on this side of the pond. For example, the sweet you know as candy floss is called cotton candy over here, so the double entendre of tooth flossing mints is usually overlooked.

I agree that Americans can sometimes be isolationist towards other nations and their cultural differences. But there's nothing ignorant about recognizing the spelling of one's own country -- no offense! :lol
