-Huh, I didn't know that the Resurrection queen was literally the same as Aliens'. I know Alec borrowed the queen head from Bob to sculpt the AvP queen's crown, and then returned it after removing the clay.

I found a clip where he says it was repainted just for an FYI... at 2:56 in this video...

- Great find! And I notice he says they borrowed it twice, which lines up with Alec telling me they borrowed it for AvP.

One thing that might be interesting to try is to put the face of Sil from SPECIES in place of the usual ALIEN face—-but also to put the neck much farther back upon the ALIEN 3 dog body.

This would have to be an animatronic of course…but it’s worth it for a scare.

Say a victim is laying down…the Quadruped Cenomorph walks in…the head turns and in a moment is face to face with the recumbent form.

We have seen the drone, the warrior…those have lost the power to shock.

So we give this new thing a sweet if creepy face…but in her belly is the maw from THE DEADLY SPAWN.

And so as the victim is losing his lower appendages to hers…the Sil-face whispers “Shh…shh…it’s about over now.”

Ha thanks for the advice! This is going to be hanging from the ceiling and will be 16ft long for tail tip to finger tip with a complete fullsize diorama to go with it including a member of the colony sealed to the wall. No one has made anything like this since the movie as far as I know. The warrior is a combination of the stunt suits, the puppets, with a little dash of my own design thrown in.

it's just taking forever since I work a full time job... slow going.

Thank you sir.. I see a few things I wanna change already.. I never really know until I get some primer on it.. that will have to wait though.. when the whole thing is done I am going to take a break and just look at it to see if anything bothers me enough to fix it.

I've spent about as much time on the drawing as I am willing to do. This is good enough for me. Time to get back to the Alien build.

Thank you sir. I could keep tweeking it forever but at some point I gotta move on and get back to the build..lol. I am going to find a place in town that does large format scans to get a real image of it. Pictures never look right either too contrasty or too washed out.
