Hadley's Hope Colony Set/Wall/Aliens Hive Build

It's probably too early to post this as I have a long way to go before it's done but I don't want to keep posting them in the cool pics thread. I am building a Colony and Hive set to go with my fullsize Alien I built over the course of the last two years.

It doesn't extend all the way to the floor. I have vaulted ceilings and there is this shelf that runs across the whole thing. The set will run along that shelf and be above you as you walk through the house with the Alien as the centerpiece. This is what I have so far.

I found these shelves at Lowes they have this really nice Sci-fi looking grate pattern that I will weather and use to hang the pipes and hive from. Nothing is actually attached to the wall. It all just sits on the shelf so far. I will also be making a section of floor plating out of the shelves just to see if it can work.

I also included a nod to the first issue of the Aliens Darkhorse comics with the Kill Us All drawn on the panel.

Starting on the corridor lights. The original were sort of hex shaped and I don't think they make them anymore and even if they did they probably wouldn't fit my build. I wanted something true to the movie though so I am building them myself. These will just slightly glow. I don't want them to be as bright as they are in the movie. The hex shaped clear cover is clear worbla thermal plastic.
