Fight Club Tyler Durden T-shirts?

I'll take some more pics of the shirt itself to show you guys some of the details. Unfortunately I'm not sure of the manufacturer because there is barely anything left of the tag, but I'll take pictures of it too in case someone can figure it out by the shape or color. I'm fairly certain it's the same manufacturer as the screen used though due to details like the collar ribbing.

What cracks me up is wondering if anyone would share the brand if they identified it from the tag. Especially those who are asking to know the brand. Lol. Everyone wants a quick come-up.

Well that guy on ebay has a shirt with a pattern too. If the price comes down enough I will buy it and send it to Soul for us.

Even if all of the information for each piece was made public, it would make little to no difference in actually finding anything. Most of these pieces are so ridiculously rare, that ever finding one would be impossible or once in a life time. Keep in mind that some of the clothing worn in the film is at least 15-20 years old and a lot of the clothing is closer to 40-50 years old. I'm sure a lot of the people who had the actual clothing back in the 60's & 70's tossed em long before the film was even released. What ever is left out there is going to be snatched up by serious collectors immediately. Best bet is to wait for Soulinertia's screen accurate replicas

By the way, tomorrow I should have the muslin from JAL. There is a slight delay on the jacket because I requested a muslin of what it wouls be like if the jacket had its sides tapered which deviates a little because the original didn't. Based off that I can make my final decision and he can cut the jacket. I can post pics of the muslin for opinions on how it looks. I dont believe the muslin has shoulder pads though.

Looks like Jonathan is really knocking these out quick. Mine should be here tomorrow too. I can't trust USPS though, so we'll see about that. I was curious about the shoulder pads as well. He included some kind of faux-padding in the Mayhem muslin though, so it might. Guess we'll know tomorrow.

:thumbsup100% agree

Yeah, believe me, guys like Iamjwpc, BlackSugar and I . . . we don't just stumble across these items. Some of these vintage pieces have taken hundreds of hrs, (if not thousands) searching all over the interwebs to find. I myself have sacrificed many Saturday nights searching for rare items instead of out partying because this is what I love to do, and finding that rare item can be a huge adrenalin rush! But we're putting in work here. It's taken years of process and studying the finest details to figure out some of these brands, many of which have been shared, and some we still don't know. But like Iamjwpc said, just because you know the brand doesn't mean it's going to make it much easier to find. Most of the items I've found aren't even listed by the brand anyways, and that's because usually after 20-30 years there's nothing left of the tag. Even though I know a couple of the brands, I've searched every day, at least 1hr/day and I've still never even seen, or know anyone that's seen some of these vintage items.

It's pretty awesome finding original pieces, just the other day I found something worn by a significant figure. It is such a rush and awesome feeling, but it is so rare just stumbling onto stuff like that. But when you do it's amazing :D

Well said. I myself, have spent countless hours in the past few years searching for any information regarding anything about Fight Club. I would search for any new photo I haven't seen before, any new magazine, new article, anything that would help me identify something from the film. I have spent well over $1000 on FC related magazines alone, just trying to find new photos, higher resolution photos, new articles, anything that would give me more clues to help my search. I have spent hundreds maybe thousands of hours scrolling through thousands and thousands of listings searching for whatever it was I was looking for. I'm not keeping any secret source from anyone, because there is nothing like that. For me, it's just been dedication and luck. And like Soul said, a lot of the tags are completely washed out or missing and usually the piece wasn't even listing by the brand name. The chances of finding some of these pieces are seriously probably once in a lifetime.
I'm not keeping it all to myself either. I've been doing some work behind the scenes, helping Soulinertia get some of these screen accurate replicas out to you guys. :cheers

Oh yeah, I also wanted to show it with a flash. Notice how the colors on both the jacket and shirt change. The heat pressing really shined up the jacket in some parts too. It looks very similar to some of the shots from the paperstreet house photoshoot. A tell-tale sign that Kaplan may have used some of the same techniques to distress the jacket.

soul can you post a close up of the moto shirt's fabric?

Yeah, I'll take some shots when I get home tonight. I don't have the shirt with me right now.

Yes interesting. My jacket should have been ready by tomorrow cause he has my measurements. The tapering is throwing things off. Like I said, I will see what I think of it otherwise I will stick to the original design. I wonder if distress can make a jacket tapered?

Yes, it's very handy that he keeps your measurements on hand! Mine haven't changed since last time I ordered but I am pretty picky so I figured I'd get another muslin just in case. :D

Personally, I think his original pattern looks right to me. I think maybe the tapered look has to do with the fact that Brad Pitt has broad shoulders. If you also have broad shoulders I imagine Jonathan's cut looks about right. I think the lambskin plays a role in that as well. I'm curious to hear what you think though – my opinion is only founded on pictures.

I could see MAYBE getting some tapering due to distress if the jacket stretched in that way but personally I think it's unlikely. I'm no expert but that's my line of thinking.

If you could post pics of the tapering that would be awesome!
