Fight Club Tyler Durden T-shirts?

Here is a pic of a Tyler Durden shirt. It is in decent quality not sure if it has been posted. I know we are familiar with the shirt just wanted to share the picture.

Well according to Oliver Peoples, they are not legit. Did you hear the story awhile back that someone was manufacturing fake iPhones and selling them on eBay? If someone could replicate something that complex, making knockoff OP-523's would be a breeze. I'm not sure why you're so insistent that the OP-523 "Ti" is authentic. Do you realize how many knockoffs flow out of Japan?

DAYWALKER, the reason the 2009 rerelease didn't say TITANIUM on them is because they were made in the METAL ALLOY.. So I guess we were wrong about that. The originals mustve been made in the titanium finish. Either way, every one who knows about op-523 knows that they were made in two different metals. View attachment 304779
First of all, that's exactly what I already said. The OP-523 re-release was not titanium. Secondly, I know the OP-523 was made in at least two different metals, because I've owned pairs from every release from 1998-2009.

Listen DAYWALKER, The OP-523 that were and have been manufactured in JAPAN in Titanium were manufactured in the same plants where the original and rerelease op-523 were manufactured. Prove to me that they are not authentic with other evidence then some clerk in an Oliver Peoples store telling you they aren't. How exactly aren't they not authentic??? I have been speaking with someone who knows pretty much everything about the op-523 model ( and confirmed to me the myth about gothic rose before AJ went to the store in LA )and knows a lot about many other op models, and has confirmed to me that there aren't any FAKE OP-523. There are just inconsistent markings and ways of marking the frames. How exactly are they knock offs when they are made in a more costly metal then the alloys that the USA manufactured them in. They may not be sold in the USA but they are manufactured the same exact way that the old models were. THE OP-523 TITANIUM is the op-523 created in JAPAN for the Japanese markets in a stronger more durable and expensive metal. If you want one of the older op-523 frames which were sold here in 2009 or before, then go on the BAY and find them. There are several there. But until you can prove that OP doesn't have some deal going on in JAPAN then don't say the JAP frames aren't legit.

They're all legit, if not then they're close enough. Who cares at this point. Tyler Durden would love to destory this thread... At this point I'd join him.

Let's change subject from the OP crap, has anyone found the original Classic Cigarettes pack yet?

I couldn't agree more. About time someone said something. I wanted to know if anyone has found the track pants yet?

Yes. I'll refrain from any more op talk

Lol tyler durden would love to destroy this thread lol

Well I did find the Oliver People discussion interesting. I think the variations are interesting and I never knew the older models had the bridge measurement. The sunglasses are also very cool.

By the way, when I get my dancing girls shirt from Soul I cannot wait to share pics with you all!!

Haha I thought this was funny. Oliver Peoples has their official instagram page which is cool when you like their sunglasses. (I have a vast collection) -- But when I saw this picture I had to correct them:

Also on a side note, in that picture it claims for the US release of the Blood Red 523 2009 release only 75 were made? Is that true? I did not realize that was true. The Oliver Peoples page is the one that stated that.

Yeah, Oliver Peoples said they were only making 75 pairs of the silver frames with blood red lenses and 75 pairs of the gold frames with brown lenses for the 2009 release.

Ok so I have this Fight Club promotional catalog that I got years ago. I forgot I had it then I decided to pull it out. It is done in basically an IKEA style where it is selling all the items we seen in Fight Club under fake names and prices. It was done to promote Fight Club. Well the interesting thing is the photos look to be untouched and unfiltered. You can see this in some of the images like the Seersucker which gives a clear view of the color of the jacket and the blue stripes, see the example below:

The interesting thing is it has the pictures from the golf scene. It can maybe help give us a better view of the jacket he wore and the pants. The interesting thing about the pants is it looks like they also have pinstripes on them and that the pants themselves are red. Take a look:

Granted I had to take these pics with my IPHONE so sadly it isn't a scan which would be a little clearer. But they do appear red with stripes.

Hey guys I found something interesting, in the Fresh Prince of Bel Air episode Strip Tease for Two I think Carlton is wearing the same exact tie that Brad Pitt wears during the soap selling scene where he wears the seersucker suit. Here are a few captures I tried getting with my phone. Also here is the link to the clip on youtube, he is also seen wearing it in the scene after:

Aj, did JAL not no anything about the jacket in the golf scene? It looks leather so there might have been a chance he would have had a hand in making it?
