First of all, that's exactly what I already said. The OP-523 re-release was not titanium. Secondly, I know the OP-523 was made in at least two different metals, because I've owned pairs from every release from 1998-2009.DAYWALKER, the reason the 2009 rerelease didn't say TITANIUM on them is because they were made in the METAL ALLOY.. So I guess we were wrong about that. The originals mustve been made in the titanium finish. Either way, every one who knows about op-523 knows that they were made in two different metals. When the f%$k will this OP sunglasses ranting end...
This is exactly why I've lost interest...
They're all legit, if not then they're close enough. Who cares at this point. Tyler Durden would love to destory this thread... At this point I'd join him.
Let's change subject from the OP crap, has anyone found the original Classic Cigarettes pack yet?
I couldn't agree more. About time someone said something. I wanted to know if anyone has found the track pants yet?
Yeah, Oliver Peoples said they were only making 75 pairs of the silver frames with blood red lenses and 75 pairs of the gold frames with brown lenses for the 2009 release.Haha I thought this was funny. Oliver Peoples has their official instagram page which is cool when you like their sunglasses. (I have a vast collection) -- But when I saw this picture I had to correct them:
Also on a side note, in that picture it claims for the US release of the Blood Red 523 2009 release only 75 were made? Is that true? I did not realize that was true. The Oliver Peoples page is the one that stated that.
