well the wife and I got caught up on all these tonight. I didnt think Anthony's was that bad. Liked the head and chest, the rest was crap. The two that won were both very nice. Too bad the one dude lost out aon a technicality- dont know why they made a big deal about it.

When Anthony said he'd do better next week and Herrick said "if there's a next week" and you could quite literally see him go *gulp*......I was killing myself laughing.

I'm glad to see Alam go home but I'm pissed that I have to listen to Autumn for another week.

Glenn is the troll master. But these shows always need a simon cowell and around season 2 it became Glenn.

I would've done the butterfly wings in two parts each to hide the arm silhouettes, but I'm still glad it won. But I thought the army ant was really cute, like a Pixar or DreamWorks ant.

I couldn't believe when the judges were ripping Alams makeup apart and Hetrick asks her why she chose Silicone and she literally had no answer. She had no idea why she chose silicone.

Even when she told Megan she was going with Silicone and Megan asked because of the transparency, I couldn't believe it. It seems like Alam has no clue what she's doing and is amateur at best.

Because that was supposed to be the point of the challenge: to show that texture somewhere in the makeup.

This relates to Face Off Season 4 in what way?

I also really liked the Army Ant idea. I mean cmon, he had an ant, how crazy can he make it? The anteanna were all wrong though, that was my beef with it. And does anyone else get as annoyed with Hetrick as much as I do? His clothes are always too tight and he acts like he is gods gift to the effects industry

He probably just gets paid extra to be a colossal ***** because of all the judges, can you see anyone BUT him being one?

im at a point where i just watch what the challenges are, then fast forward to the results. there is really nothing you can take away from anything inbetween. thank god for technology

I also thought it was odd they did not call him out for the paint on the arms. I think the only way to be more obvious about where every thing attached at the shoulder and the "gloves" would be if the edges were flapping in a breeze. I could see them when the camera zoomed all the way out.

So, who's watching? Walking Dead crossover was a nice touch. Here's a live account of thoughts in the reveal section:
Bottom is incapable of sculpting anything but pigs.
The judges are definitely being harder on Fox and Ant because of how high level they are. They're getting bashed for work the others would get (and are getting) praised for doing.
House's wolf makes a classic Martian mistake: Pinky-red instead of rusty orange. That always pisses me off.
The blue wolf is pretty good, but I feel like the head was too skinny.
Wow, dealing with the dysfunctional team is like dealing with the children. Hopefully Bottom is going home. Because really, a rock monster from Jupiter? That's pretty stupid.
Go figure that blue won. Other than the head, to me it was the best one of the group.
Bottom's gone! FINALLY. She's a really sore loser, and she doesn't understand her effect on others.

You summed it up well. I wonder if she sees it now that the episodes are airing. As for the Martian wolf, yeah, thought the fuschia color was off, like you said, browns and oranges. Wish the matted hair on the back was replaced with some sort of space pack.

Wow. They pretty much sent Autumn off without the usual, 'thanks for being here, we're seeing improvement, keep working at it.' They just got rid of her.

I'm never really one of those people who get so into a show like my mum who was shouting and cheering at the Oscars but when Autumn got the boot, I actually shouted out with Joy. Im so glad that tool got the boot. I missed the first 20 minutes of the episode but I got the gist of it.

Normally I looked down on previous contestants that threw their partner under the bus, but that mainly because the person doing it was all high and mighty but I'm glad that it was more sticking up for himself although he should of done that at the beginning. He'll get nowhere in the industry if he's a pushover.

When Bottom was going on about how she didn't notice any of Eric Z and Ve said "that's because you were too busy being bossy", it was the best part of the episode.

She constantly put out subpar makeups day in and day out and she actually thought that she was in the top people. It sounds like the judges were looking for an excuse to give her the boot but they never had the best chance until today.

Did Hetrick actually say that?
