Thanks!

I noticed that EE moved the deliver date of the TMP phaser to December.
Oh, dear. A delay? All who are surprised, show hands......
Anyway AA/DST has definitely pandered to the "adult collector". :thumbsup

Slightly more information on the TMP phaser from the Art Asylum blog.
Customer asks: I was wondering though exactly how will the exclusive TMP phaser distinguish itself from TWOK version as far as lights and sounds? Since the phaser was never actually fired in The Motion Picture I am assuming you are going to take some creative license with this or is it basically just the same phaser repackaged without the trigger knob and with some different colored LEDs?
DSTChuck: The TMP and TWOK phasers have different colored lights and some of the sounds are different. We were able to find reference from TMP and we went from there. From time to time we have had to “create” missing details in the Trek Tek line an in those cases we’ve shown CBS what we wanted to do and the reasons and had a good dialogue back and forth to come up with a solid solution.

They also say in the same blog that the next Trek Tek item isn't going to be a tricorder, and they rule out a Star Trek III or V phaser too...they've already done a TOS communicator, so I'm guessing their doing a TMP wrist comm or a WOK comm. Any thoughts?

Yeah, because God forbid they should make the movie era phaser that just about EVERY Trekker actually WANTS! :rolleyesThey also say in the same blog that the next Trek Tek item isn't going to be a tricorder, and they rule out a Star Trek III or V phaser too...
In a previous blog, they mentioned they wanted to try something non-Starfleet next. I'm guessing that means a Klingon disruptor of the TV or film era...
