DST WOK PHASER... Who got theirs?!?

I picked one up this past weekend. It's awesome. As someone has said, it's worth the purchase price for the electronics alone.

I'm like 16. What would you suggest I do to make this Screen-Accurate?

The easiest thing to do to improve it's appearance is to replace the silver tape on the side with the correct 1/4 square holo tape. I have 25 feet worth of it love). Then a basic repaint with Duplicolor light metallic blue. Or you can go all out like some, including me, and fill in screw holes, seams, mod the trigger, round the body, add a butt plate, add lead weight, etc.

So did I when I first joined. You'll quickly find that in the realm of TOS Trek props, most people were fans from early on so not too many young ones.

yeah, I watched the last few seasons of TNG first run. But I mean EARLY on, like Trek in syndication during the 70s.

I'm just happy that there is as much attention to the classic Trek than the new one. Glad DST didn't make their own flip-flop rotating phaser.

Seriously, if the thing actually SPEAKS, I'm going to chuck it into the wall, smashing it into a bunch of pieces!
