DRIVE (2011) Scorpion Satin Jacket

Yeah Ive definitely had some options which have made it difficult to make a final decision... Hence Im going with the closest screen used rendition as possible. Final details one wouldnt necessarily have the option of are making my mind explode. X_x

Awesome! Will totally take one of these off your hands when available!

Just a little thought of mine:

The Max Raws had me looking into raw denim jeans, which of course led me to japanese denim. Now, somewhere I think I read that Iron Heart produces trucker jackets based on the classic 1960s Levi's design. Not sure how accurate they are in copying the style since I haven't really looked into getting the jean jacket, but still, this might be a good choice if one wants the classic 60s cut with old school raw quality denim.
Anyone able to evaluate the accuracy of these?

Hey Drivr,
So what's the deal. Are you going to let us in on your scheming? Don't bother with replicating the whole watch. All you need to have replicated is the dial and hands, if you think about it. If you go ahead with the watch let me know. I'd love a real Patek replica.

Lol, a real Patek replica...as opposed to a fake replica? jk.
But if you are able to produce these watches in a good quantity, Drivr, then like everyone else, I'd be in on it.

Drivr, do you have a plan of attack as for the sale of the watch replica and when you're looking to have them ready to go? Like do you have a price in mind so far and when you may take a list of people for orders? Just curious, as I'm looking forward to seeing the prototype pix and really excited to get one!

As opposed to a shoddy one, or a close enough watch in my case.

Really? Sorry, but that's hialrious. What lead you to this discovery? I knew it was odd, seeing as I've never come across that jerky tag before.

Correct Elijahman, however little e jackets started production in the eighties and have various styles. The earliest being the two pocket version, like mine.

haha i was just searching for another jacket like mine with indigo wash and bronze buttons but couldnt find any. i decided to put in the product code on ebay and ta-da
a bunch appears with the tag like 'Vintage Levi's Ladies Trucker' hahaha. the ******* that sold me this jacket didnt tell me that he was wearing ladies jacket as well :p

Not only is it not deadstock it isn't even 60's vintage. If it were an 60's original it would be a big E tag. Some people must have been dropped on their head too many times as a child. I would not recommemd buying that jacket, even if it were genuine the price alone is ridiculous!

Great thread guys, and really an awesome movie! :)
I'm wondering if anyone here got the English Tan version of the gloves? Interested in using these gloves for the spring and fall/autumn, and I do think a light brown would look better when it summer and hot at the same time.
But I do live in Norway, so we have 20 days of sun, and 345 days of either snow or rain.

Not interested in the jacket (though it is really cool), so I'm open for both the color alternatives.
Out looking for the Selima's too, but they're really pricey. Think I have to live with my Persol 0649/0714, which is also used by Mr. Gosling;

Well I gotta comment on that jacket that claims to be dead stock... That guys a complete moron- considering the fact I legitimately have a never washed before Big E trucker. I gotta post some pics considering the price I paid for it... if i were anyone I wouldnt budge on anything over 65 bucks... I will say tho i did randomly offer the guy 50 bucks for the jacket to indirectly slap him in the face... seriously 3300? what a winner.
Driver- I gotta say Im definitely with you now as far as keeping it simple and clean. As for the price guys... Its yet to be determined. I will say that at this point I am only able to produce 3 timepieces. So I am sorry for the limited amount available. hopefully at some point more can be produced. Nevertheless like i said before i will be posting pictures as time permits.

Nice Big E jacket. I also got mine for about 60 dollars, so that seems to be about the going rate for a used jacket. I've seen deadstock jackets for around 300 dollars, but 3000 for an eighties jacket is laughable.

Keep me posted on the watch situation.

I dyed my white stacy adams using angelus beige taupe which is the perfect color they do look a little white sometimes, I tried the regular taupe but it was to dark like a dark brown but I'd say angelus shoe dye is the way to go.

Definitely post some pictures when you get the chance of those!:thumbsup

Crap! Where'd you pick that up? And more importantly, what belt is that?
The buckle looks wider than the Torino Aniline.

I picked the belt up off ebay... 20 bucks... supposedly the last one. it appears to be a little bit wider however thats without the scale of being worn... its almost like the one in the movie... yet i bought a perfectly square one i thought that was almost identical but it doesnt look properly proportionate. thats why i rolled with this one... well see.
